Streamlined CRM with Room for Improvement

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's layout because it's very clean and simple, which makes it incredibly user-friendly despite its complexity. The onboarding process is straightforward and simplifies getting information into Notion, allowing me to manipulate and organize it easily. I love the vibrant community surrounding Notion, where people are constantly creating new templates and offering services to enhance the Notion experience. This interaction with a creative community makes my experience with Notion richer and more dynamic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the learning curve significant when using Notion as a CRM, particularly during the onboarding process when uploading a CSV file. This required a lot of manual data entry, which was frustrating. Additionally, Notion Mail lacks the robustness I find in my current email scheduling system, making it less efficient to use. Initially, integrating my usual systems with what was available in Notion was challenging, requiring adjustments to my established workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a CRM to organize prospects and deals, streamline data entry with AI, and manage tasks efficiently. It centralizes my business information, provides ease of access, and integrates with Calendar and Mail for comprehensive management.

AI-Driven, Easy Setup, But Can Slow Down

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the new AI-generated text features in Notion. These AI capabilities allow me to quickly search through our extensive workspaces to locate specific information, which I find incredibly valuable given the sheer number of pages we manage. The AI text generation also saves me time by creating blocks for me, streamlining my workflow significantly. I love the flexibility and variety offered by the different types of blocks and how intuitive it is to embed diagrams from external applications like Figma and Miro directly into documents, which enhances our collaborative documentation efforts. Additionally, I appreciate the ease of integration with other tools, making Notion an indispensable part of our project management and design process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Notion can get very slow at times, particularly when we rely on a single page for tracking extensive information like engineering standups or centralizing design documents for large projects. This slowness can significantly hinder our team's productivity, as speed is crucial to managing our workload efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize and align engineering projects, propose ideas, and run retrospectives, saving time with AI features. Its integrations and AI search streamline accessing information. However, page slowness during long-term tracking impacts our team's speed and efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion brings everything I need into one place docs, tasks, databases, AI assistance, and knowledge organization. The flexibility is its biggest strength: I can structure information however I want, from simple pages to full project dashboards. It’s also incredibly intuitive once you get going, and the templates save a ton of time. With AI built in, it’s even easier to summarize content, draft ideas, and keep things organized without switching tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Collaboration permissions can also get complex in bigger teams and require some careful setup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps centralize scattered information so I don’t have to jump between multiple tools. It solves problems around documentation, project tracking, and planning by giving me a single workspace where everything stays connected across teams

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy having everything in one place with Notion, which allows me to start with something very simple, like a text page, and then enhance it by adding tables, tasks, tags, and creating relationships between pages, as well as calendar and board views. This offers me a personalized way to organize my work. Additionally, I appreciate that the databases, templates, and the ability to establish relationships between pages work well, allowing me to structure my information efficiently. I also love the distraction-free writing option, which helps me concentrate better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say it could be the performance with many pages or databases, learning curve, mobile use, too much flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize documents, calendars, and information, avoiding dispersion in emails or Excel. It facilitates task and project management, provides efficient organization, and integrates a kind of personal wiki, which helps me quickly access information.

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how quick it is to start taking notes and I like how easy it is to navigate different docs. The Notion AI feature does a solid job at searching all our docs and extracting information to answer questions. I'm also a fan of how emoji-friendly the whole app is!
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly haven't had many downsides with using Notion so far. There are sometimes where I wish it would pull info from convos had on other platforms my team uses (ex: Slack) but i think that feature is there and we just don't have it enabled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves finding team-specific information quickly, even if it's a complex topic. It also helps organize our information in a central space as well as integrates with some of our existing tools.

Ideal for Content Management, Needs Better Tables

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion for its ability to seamlessly integrate into my workflow as I write content, specifically for financial news which automatically feeds into our internal publishing tool for efficient email distribution. The platform's tables and tagging features are invaluable for internal task monitoring, allowing structured project organization alongside clear visibility of task progress. The clean and straightforward shell structure enhances my content creation process, supporting rich formatting and image incorporation, which enhances the overall quality of my work. Notion's intuitive design makes it fast and easy to use and supports effective content management while offering robust permission controls for public and private content organization. I find the 'suggest edits' tool extremely useful, enabling clear visibility of changes with the option to accept or reject them, facilitating self-improvement and style enhancement. Additionally, the comments system is invaluable, promoting easy collaboration with the ability to tag colleagues and make real-time edits simultaneously, ensuring smoother group project coordination. Notion sets a highly positive initial experience for new team members, allowing them to log in and start working immediately without barriers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find tables in Notion to be very poor and too rigid, which makes them unusable for my needs. As a financial business, I frequently include table data in reports, but due to these limitations, I always end up taking screenshots and adding them as images instead. Additionally, I've experienced increasing buggy behavior over the last six months, which forces me to refresh the Notion page more often. This includes issues like vanishing comments until I reload the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to streamline content writing and task monitoring, benefiting from its editing tools and easy collaboration, though its table functionality is limited.
