Super sweet note taking!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to format text and organise all the different pages, personal and work related. I really like the ability to personalise all pages with header images and icons!
What do you dislike about the product?
Being used to InDesign, somethings are hard to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's more advanced than simple "Notes" so it's nice to be able to take notes and sub-notes and sub-sub-notes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to make use of all the ways you can format the copy, it makes your notes so much more legible. There are a lot of ways to divide your thoughts.
Notion is the best
What do you like best about the product?
Its so easy to use, great for collaborating
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it integrated with Google calendar so my notifications went to my calendar
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration and project managemrnt
Tool for all of our needs
What do you like best about the product?
Notion's interface is adaptable for practically anything we need. Their team is super responsive and provide a ton of support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it's so customizable, Notion is hard to start using effectively as a team because you have to design each workflow that it'll be used for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for CRM with customers, investors, and general ecosystem tracking. It's also handy for project management, team management, and knowledge sharing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it.
The most flexible productivity software you'll ever use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the modular abilities of Notion. Previously I had to use a particular tool for a particular task, for example, kanbans would be best in Trello, to-do lists in Todoist or Google keep then I would keep my documents in docs and databases in Excel or Google Sheets. What Notion does is replaces all of them and makes me create a very customized layout so if I had to use a kanban + calendar + a few docs I can very easily do it. I can remix and re-create as per my needs so this was the winning feature that made me switch from other tools. A lot of productivity is to do with being in charge and control, this truly helps me take control and streamline my workflow under one roof.
What do you dislike about the product?
The API and data-oriented features are missing. I know these are getting built but how cool would it be if Notion could speak to all my apps maybe and provide zapier like automation. And also being able to pull data out of it so, maybe from my Fitbit daily steps or heart rate automatically gets fed in and then I could see and map it or even take action like emailing the report to my doctor whenever it gets absurdly high
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Reduction in number of apps related to achieving the same task
-Less stressful workflow management. Generally, after adding so many todos, etc it's really stressful but notions layout actually helps me get work done
-The cost saved that we were paying for many tools that are now inside notion.
- More clarity due to custom layouts: Just a todo list or a kanban would just give a certain level of insights with Notion I can create pages inside pages, different views link different mechanisms like kanban, calendar, to-dolist a database so I can gain any level of insight right in one app. That is powerful earlier I had to open certain things then comment there then text them elsewhere to reply me there. With notion that's a thing of the past.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It might seem hard to setup because there's just so many things you can do but once you figure that part out it's really easy and streamlined. Watch videos on youtube under the "Keep Productive" channel to get a heads up to what you can expect also consider using a template to get started.
Versatile, expansive platform
What do you like best about the product?
The best and worst thing is that there are so many uses, it's hard to know what to prioritize - from Trello-like boards to calendars to document repositories, Notion does so many neat things that it keeps getting more useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the interface is incredibly intuitive, it can be daunting to use keyboard shortcuts for everything or know what you're missing out on. documentation/tutorials may be available for that purpose
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
team collaboration software is often point-solution heavy and requires heavy onboarding time - Notion didn't and has allowed our team to track projects, maintain documentation and keep a comprehensive calendar
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just do it - and spend time exploring the functionality, different types of templates and overall customizability that can best support you and your teams.
Google Docs + Google Drive + Sheets + Asana = Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable Notion is. I use it for work and my personal life. Unlike other project management tools, Notion doubles as a really useful note keeper. This is something that I have struggled with while using other apps like Asana which are task oriented. To me, Notion is an all in one. My team uses it for project specific To-do's, storing relevant documents and materials, notes, design system documentation, and questions. I love how in the mobile app you can take a picture and insert it directly into your notes. I found this extremely useful at conferences when I'm taking notes a million miles a minute and taking pics of presentation slides at the same time. I am able to create a page for the conference and a sub-page for each session I attended to keep all of my notes organized and easily accessible. I also use for my personal life as a journal and planner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the mobile app is very temperamental. It will randomly log me out and sometimes it is difficult to get logged back in. It also randomly shuts down sometimes. I started using the web app on my phone instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing and organizing every aspect of a project in one place with a team in 2 different countries. A benefit we have realized is that we don't need a super sexy software with all the unnecessary bells and whistles. One of our most used pages in Notion is a super long ever growing page sectioned off with every flowchart, general overview, question, and link we need and we love it. Its so basic but we find everything we need exactly when we need it and that is all that matters. I use Notion and Asana daily for different roles at work and I prefer Notion over Asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want asana + google docs + google drive + sheets use Notion
An Upgrade from Evernote
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Notion is that it allows for subpages. This lets me organize all of my work in a much more effective way than I could in Evernote. Everything was designed to make myself more efficient and it makes it worth the money for the time I save.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would have a tab so you could easily return to pages you recently made changes too. Without this, it makes it hard to keep track of things you were working on then switched away from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keeping meeting notes in the same place as my personal and business to-do lists and lets me share them with my team.

Project management is easier and more efficient
Notion is a GODSEND. My top 3- favorites I use EVERY DAY
What do you like best about the product?
It took me 1 year to upgrade from the trial. But there is a good reason why.
I have all the note taking softwares, checklists, spreadsheets. I needed something that can house everything, and was quick. Notion does all of that.
For me- I use notion to reference pretty much everything. I dont use it for full on notes.. but for reference points. If for example, I need to reference writing content, i have notes for sales copy examples in their 'text' option, checklists, reference images, and outlines. I guess there was inspiration from checklist manifest to have a process or procedure to go about doing things.
Notion is that ultimate tool that houses everything

What do you dislike about the product?
I was a early adopter of noton.. and used the free option for a long long time. Namely, because of features they didnt have . But now they do! I would like a few more options for colums.. but i suppose that is my preference and can work with what is available. They just released templates a few weeks ago and are always adding more stuff. so really no complaints
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need a full reference software that houses, quick links, checklists, notes. notion can be used for much more, but for me, this is what i use it for..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
i recommend this tool to everyone! 100%
MY NEW FAVORITE TOOL!
What do you like best about the product?
So.. let me say, that it took me over a year to 'jump on board' not because of the tool it self. but i was a early adopter.. looking for a replacement for evernote, wunderlist, and google drive. That's a ton of data!
Notion does ALL OF THIS.
Notion does ALL OF THIS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is shipping new stuff on the daily. Their team is excellent,a nd listens their community to add new eatures. Just last week they created templates. And that was a 'dislike' i had. I would like to see a thinner link preview somehow.. but they have that with hyperlinks Or maby a cool way to import google bookmarks :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
EVERYTHING. i switched all my everntoes to notion, because of its speed
i added my checklists to notion, because of how well the checklist and text can be in columns instead of the one size fits all with evernote.
