User-Friendly and Consistent, But Documentation Navigation Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and consistent, predictable patterns
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to get a full view of ALL the documentation in Notion; side nav and Home are not enough. Search could be more powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a KB for design decisions, one pagers and roadmaps
Great Customization, But Search Function Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The customisable visual elements when creating a page
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature does not always work well in my experience and I do not like that it will search and open over a current tab rather than as a new tab
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping documentation in one easy to share and amend location
Perfect for Company Wikis, Though Slightly Rigid in Layout
What do you like best about the product?
Our best use case for Notion is as the Company Wiki. It provides a streamlined solution to organize all documents and information in one space, perfectly organized and with sub-pages that don't overclutter the page with information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can feel too rigid, where because of the structured layout of the pages and options available, it doesn't give you complete freedom creatively, but still far simpler and more freedom than any other tool our company has used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replacing our existing Google Suite web page with the go-to company wiki, filled with databases and pages that simplifies onboarding and document management.
AI Assistant Reduces Tedious Tasks, But Task View Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The AI assistant has been very helpful for not only finding content within Notion, but also performing tasks such as duplicating repeated sub-tasks when a new task for the same thing but a different customer is added — definitely reduces tedium!
What do you dislike about the product?
On the Tasks view, it would be nice to be able to expand multiple tasks at once, more seamlessly. Or at least, if you leave the page with certain tasks expanded to show their sub-tasks, they won't re-collapse all upon return to the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a much better project management tool than Trello, in my opinion — it more seamlessly keeps things organized and easy to "mark off", which makes my job easier when I'm juggling a lot of different things at once. I also appreciate how it can serve as a centralized repository for all knowledge in our company, which reduces the need for myself and colleagues spending extra time peppering each other with one-off questions about things.
Notion: Easy Setup and Versatile for Personal and Professional Work
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it was to set up Notion, making the transition smooth and hassle-free. Notion's unique capabilities stand out distinctively in comparison to other tools, providing a comprehensive platform that suits both my personal and professional needs. I appreciate its robust performance, which ensures all my tasks run seamlessly. The features I find most useful include the database forms, Notion Calendar, and Notion Mail, all of which significantly enhance my productivity and organization. I particularly enjoy how versatile Notion is for creating one-pagers, audits, documentation, timelines, and roadmaps, catering to a wide range of activities efficiently. Even though Airtable is my preference for database management, Notion comes pretty close, demonstrating its flexibility and competitiveness. I also value how Notion embeds my Figma work, allowing creative elements to be part of my documentation process, even if the integration isn't entirely seamless. Ultimately, I would purchase Notion again because of these qualities, symbolizing its effectiveness and reliability in my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to gauge the overall scope and number of my documents within Notion. It would be helpful to have a global view or an overview feature that provides a sense of all my content in Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for writing, auditing, and creating timelines, streamlining my documentation process. Its database and calendar functionalities help organize my work efficiently.
Versatile Workspace with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion primarily because of its versatility and ease of use. The platform's interface is quite user-friendly, making it enjoyable to work with. Once I understood the setup, which offers endless options, navigating and customizing Notion became straightforward. The ability to use it for various purposes is a significant advantage; it's like having an endless toolkit at my disposal, which I find very appealing. For my day-to-day tasks, Notion excels in streamlining information sharing and collaboration. It's been an invaluable resource for creating Wikis, managing projects, and organizing team hubs, offering a much-improved collaboration experience compared to Google Docs. The interface is particularly nice, and I appreciate its aesthetic appeal. Among its features, I find the AI capabilities incredibly helpful. Writing alongside the AI enhances my productivity, and it acts as a supportive feature in my work routine. Additionally, the calendar feature is quite cool, offering seamless integration and organizational support. These aspects combined make Notion a tool I would consider buying again thanks to its helpful and varied possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Notion's search functionality is not very effective for team-based information retrieval. When trying to find specific information, the search often returns a lot of irrelevant results, making it challenging to locate necessary content, especially across different teams like engineering and customer experience. This inefficiency leads to consideration of other vendors like Guru for organizing knowledge bases. Additionally, the initial setup process in Notion was a bit challenging due to the overwhelming number of options, which required time to understand how to organize everything properly. While once accustomed, it becomes straightforward, this initial hurdle can be difficult. Moreover, I find that Notion could improve as a knowledge base by making it easier to find team-specific information, and it would be beneficial if the AI could more intelligently search and find answers throughout the existing database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion beneficial for collaboration, creating Wikis, and managing team hubs, but it struggles with searching for team-specific information. It offers ease of use, a great interface, and diverse capabilities, though finding specific info for new team members is challenging.
Revolutionized My Content Management
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Notion for approximately two months and it has completely revolutionized the way I create, track, and post content. I found that Notion offers significant automation capabilities and its AI features immediately caught my attention. The ability to search through Google Docs, Google Drive, and within Notion itself is great, effectively replacing my use of Google Docs. Setting up Notion was straightforward and allowed me to discover use cases tailored to my work style. I particularly value the fact that I could directly create content within Notion, which was a major advantage that alleviated the need for redundant copy-pasting into Google Drive. Notion effectively solves the problem of keeping all my content in one place, allowing me to find and reference it quickly. I find the AI writing and knowledge base features most useful, and I appreciate how these capabilities enhance my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I regret the lack of integration with Siri, which limits my ability to add content efficiently. I'm also not fully satisfied with task management capabilities in Notion; for efficient scheduling and task organization, I still rely on another tool called Motion. Better task management integration would certainly enhance my productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion centralizes my content, enabling quick access and easy management, and its AI features enhance my content creation process efficiently.
Great AI summarizations of all company knowledge

Ability to organize notes - And then have their AI search the org for all notes related to a topic
What do you dislike about the product?
Less used than say google docs - so people don't always know how to collaborate with it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Summarizing notes from all over the org
Excellent AI Tools, But Support and Data Flexibility Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the AI writing Assistant and Enterprise search
What do you dislike about the product?
Support can be difficult to reach at times and need more flexibility with multiple data sources
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining tasks for the team
Effortless Document Management with AI Assistance
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely enjoy the ease of use that Notion provides. From the beginning, I found the organization within Notion to be exceptional. The search and AI search functionalities are incredibly helpful for locating various items and asking questions, making my work much more streamlined. The AI assistant is a standout feature for me; I appreciate being able to ask it random questions and have it efficiently search through our extensive documentation and even some older tickets to provide accurate answers. It's also fantastic to have a centralized place where every department within the company can store and access internal documentation with ease and editability for everyone. Furthermore, Notion plays a crucial role in allowing us to update our user manual efficiently, with changes being published seamlessly based on our edits. This makes managing content and sharing knowledge across teams a straightforward process, enhancing our productivity and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of...

I use Notion to centralize internal documentation, allowing team-wide access and updates. It streamlines updating user manuals and utilizes AI for quick information retrieval, enhancing collaboration and efficiency.
