The ability to get everything out of my head and into a structured database is incredibly beneficial, especially since I am a visual person who finds it helpful to view data in various formats. I love the customization options, which let me personalize my space to reflect my personality and preferences. The flexibility of Notion over platforms like ClickUp is another standout feature, allowing me to build exactly what I need in terms of organization and appearance. Notion AI stands out for me as it assists significantly in creating complex formulas when I'm not sure how to construct them myself. The initial setup was straightforward and became easy once I understood the foundational building blocks, which enhances my overall user experience.

I do not like that I have to pay for the business plan twice to benefit from it in both my personal and side hustle workspaces.

Instead, alerts regarding scheduled dates are sent to Notion and my email, but I prefer them to be on my Google Calendar for better personal management. I also tried using Zapier to create a calendar workflow, but found the process too complicated and eventually gave up on integrating it.

I find the 'improve writing' feature in Notion Mail horribly ineffective. It alters my content by cutting out crucial parts, sometimes changing the language inappropriately, and often making my text much shorter than intended, which reduces its clarity and effectiveness.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to be fully present in meetings, knowing that the notes are being taken accurately, I will have detailed action items at the end of the call, and I can always reference the transcription down the road - never worrying about he said/she said.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easy export function into a word document or to upload to sharepoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am constantly in calls, assisting clients with HR concerns, next steps, etc. I need to be fully present when giving recommendations and asking questions. Notion allows me to stay focused on the call and not worry that I have missed something because I was trying to also type notes.
