What do you like best about the product?
Notion is extremely flexible. You can customize it for your unique needs. It is the best way I have found to stay on top of my endless to do list. I use the web version at work, but can access notion on my phone anytime so it is always with me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Endless possibilities make it hard to choose. I have been using the AI assistant but haven't been able to create the template of my dreams yet.

I created a to do list that I can access from anywhere anytime.

The initial setup of Notion was impressively simple, requiring just signing up with my Google account, which made it easy to start collaborating with my team promptly.

I believe the free plan restricts the use of some features, which I find to be a downside despite understanding the reasoning behind it.

It's a great organizational tool that prevents digital clutter and helps keep everything in order. Additionally, I appreciate how using Notion AI speeds up my workflow, making everything go a lot quicker. The ease of the initial setup was incredibly straightforward, and I couldn't have found it easier. Overall, I'm extremely likely to recommend Notion, as I promote it all the time to friends and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more customization features in Notion, such as different fonts. The formulas in Notion could also be easier to use, making it more user-friendly for those who rely heavily on complex calculations. Additionally, the cost of Notion AI is quite high, which makes it less accessible for users who are on a budget.

The setup was remarkably intuitive, especially with tutorials, lectures, and real use cases to guide me, reflecting how deeply connected Notion is to my personal software needs and beliefs, which was further highlighted by their AI assistant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the permissions when sharing with Notion to be challenging. The lack of customization options makes it difficult to manage access effectively. It's not clear how to make certain pages accessible to specific people while keeping the main page of a team space accessible to everyone in the company. Additionally, I wish the tutorials on permissions were clearer as I'm having a hard time understanding them. The database custom access could also use more flexibility.

I find the ability to create well-organized pages under a 'Hub' particularly valuable, as it helps me manage my complex ADHD mind by providing a clear structure. Notion's frequent updates are something I admire because they offer necessary modifications whenever issues arise, ensuring the platform remains reliable. Additionally, the initial setup of Notion is very straightforward, and the FAQs are extremely helpful in learning new tools quickly, making the onboarding process smooth and trouble-free.

I love how easy it is to personalize my own dashboard in Notion, which is something I couldn't do with other tools like ClickUp or Asana because they felt more rigid. With Notion, I have complete flexibility to customize my workspace, whether I want my calendar at the top or at the bottom, and I appreciate that freedom. I'm also really enjoying the AI feature. It's super convenient; I can effortlessly ask it to find a document or add an idea to my dashboard with minimal effort on my part. The ability to organize everything just the way I like is crucial for my workflow and that of my clients. It’s like building with little Legos, which I find immensely satisfying. Additionally, using Notion has been incredibly easy for me, partly because I am well-versed in utilizing all its settings. This smooth experience made me cancel my cloud subscription as Notion now encompasses all my needs under one platform. I also find it especially suitable for creative businesses like freelancers and agencies, making it highly recommendable to friends and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the AI feature in Notion can be significantly improved. For example, it would be useful to create a button that triggers the AI to perform specific tasks in my databases automatically, which currently isn't possible. Additionally, the email feature of the new app could be enhanced by allowing me to manage all my email accounts in one place, similar to how I can on my Mac or Apple email. This enhancement would simplify categorization and streamline integration with my workflow. It would also be beneficial if Notion could better support working alongside a virtual assistant.

I sometimes encounter issues with the AI feature for meeting notes, as it can get cut off unexpectedly if your internet cuts out, I'm sure they'll fix this. Additionally, the AI Notion agent currently doesn't support reading PDFs, which would be a helpful capability once developed.
