OwnBackup rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
OwnBackup has been a massive help towards keeping all of our data in a secure and backed environment, the weekly notifications are very insightful and we have had only one minimal issue in the >6 months that we have been customers (the issue was on our end, not OwnBackup, and they helped problem solve and fix very quickly).
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I can think of is that I haven't been able to go in-depth with the product as I'd like. Planning on spending more time using resources to learn more throughout the upcoming months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Ownbackup for data backup and recovery and soon archiving

We NOW have a Good Backup of Saleforce.com
What do you like best about the product?
We relied on Saleforce.com to keep our data safe; then I realized that if a user deletes data or I make a back application design I had no backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
OwnBackup gives us the peace of mind that we can retrieve important Sales data and that there is a reliable backup of programming changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have only had a real-time backup of data. If anything went wrong on our end, we did not have a multi-version backup solution.
Best Salesforce Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is for an Admin to jump in and protect my org's data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a sinlge thing to dislike about it yet! It's really a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backups are great, not just of the data but also of the metadata. Additionally, the ability to set up a seed of data for my sandboxes is great and then I can also anonymize the data before it ever hits my sandbox, allowing me to test in complete confidence.

It's just there when you need it, saving you and your users from potentially embarrasing or risky data loss.

I just don't know all of the features very well, so less about the product and more about my own knowledge.

Quality of product. The product is good. Odaseva's product is maybe a bit more user friendly with some more nice features for admins, but Ownbackup product can do the job (backup & restore) in a reliable way, no problem.

What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult relationship: it can take them 8 weeks to reply to a customer (or potential customer) request, even after 4 reminders, and then suddenly they call this (potential) customer every second day for no reason.

Graphical interface could have been much better.

Ability to backup the metadata and the data with the option of longer retentions. Find and compare tools providing more granularity is the goto feature of ownbackup.

When analysing changes in a backup, default behaviour is downloading files, would be easier to view this information in the browser to speed up the process

OwnBackup is a Life Saver
What do you like best about the product?
You can trust that OwnBackup has your back. Once you have it set up and integrated with your Salesforce Accounts, including your Sandbox environments, you know that your system is automatically being backed up on a regular basis. You know that the data is there and you can recover it, if you ever have your data corrupted by a user or deleted by mistake by someone.
It is a system that you can leave running in the background and know that if ever there was an issue with the backup, you will be notified via email.

What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't any I can say to this question. So far everyone at OwnBackup have been pleasant, approachable, knowledgeable and helpful. The product does exactly what is says on the Tin, it backs up your Salesforce instance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time-consuming business of doing manual backups of your Salesforce Instance, that you can never really backup 100%. Then the thought of recovering your instance from a manual back-up fills me with dread.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to use. The developers are very helpful and accommodating. I see it as an insurance tool which hopefully you would not need but when you do. It's simple to restore my data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation for the training material should he a little more detailed. Its not always intuitive what needs to be done.
