What do you like best about the product?
Amazing user experience, it's simple UI and very easy to use. We can create as many jobs you want. It has lot of options to exclude particular data like history tables, chatter API, etc. It is customizable and optimizable so that OwnBackup doesn't consume all of org governor limits. It has alerting mechanism to alert individuals and team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI for data comparison between backup jobs can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The OwnBackup support is very flexible to work with and their responses are fast. The support team will immediately look into the issues and they try to resolve as quick as possible. They help you how to optimize your backup process and how to give priority between jobs etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is great tool and it is very easy to implement and maintain

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and maintain. We were able to back-up our production and sandboxes easily. Whenever we have a change we wish to roll-back, it is easier to identify the previous version for it automatically keeps track of the changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do not have anything I dislike at this time. However, I would like to suggest having a module that allows us to revert changes easily per component/file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have any problems so far.

OwnBackup has provided us with a sorely needed backup & restore function to supplement our organizational growth.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Gets the job done. I have proven its ability with numerous restores and I therefore trust it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accommodating Salesforce Sandbox refreshes is quite a manual and tedious process, but this is no fault of Ownbackup from what I understand. There is probably a way I could script it if I put some additional focus into it.

Salesforce back-up services and Salesforce data analysis comparison.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a demo and check it out for yourself. You should be pleased.

You can set up your backup rules and are sent notifications of any issues if/when they arrise.

UI is a bit clunky at times. But you only need to use it when configuring the backup/accessing the data.

not much to dislike, tool get the job done. Do not like the Find feature limit.

Easy to install and configure. Easy to use.

Cost efficient. There is no minimum in terms of required number of users and other requirements.
Other solutions we looked into didn't work for small organizations because small organization didn't meet min price/# of users requirements.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any cons to list.

It took several days to backup image files, but it's my understanding it's related to SF.com limitations rather than OwnBackup limitations.

We use OwnBackup as the main SF.com backup solution for our Production and all the Sandbox orgs.
It's very easy to configure, customer service is great.
Initial set up took maybe 30 min max. It run automatically, data is backed up on a cloud, we don't have to worry about providing server space.
