The best solution around and great value for the money.
What do you like best about the product?
This product is easy to set up and easy to use. The customer service from OwnBackup is fantastic. I've used this product not only at my current employer but, I have also with my previous employer. Regardless of what you use for your backup solution, make sure you do more than weekly exports. Salesforce solution is not sufficient in the event of a disaster. I appreciate the fact that when you purchase their product, they don't just move on to the next customer. I've received notification from OwnBackup to provide additional support that I may need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. I've had to use the product to recover data and it works great. That really is the purpose for purchasing a product, to make sure that it works when you need it. OwnBackup does this very thing. Great job and great propduct OwnBackup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not only does it provide peace of mind since Salesforce solution is expensive and they only provide you with the data to restore your org, they don't do it for you. OwnBackup is really a peace of mind software. The great thing is that this product solved the issue when Salesforce had a screw up last year and changed permissions for users that either were currently using or previously used Pardot. I've actually used this product to compare current apex method with a previous version of the method.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It really is a great software to have. Reach out to OwnBackup with any concerns you may have and they will be happy to answer any remaining questions you may have. They're support is pretty quick.

Best Backupp
What do you like best about the product?
Single time setup and you don't have to worry. The best part is to compare backups and see what is missing. As a developer i feel that this tool is most useful when dealing with multiple orgs and multiple team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The timing for the same back up varies everytime so i would like it to be consistent. Some times it is too slow which is a bit. frustrating,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I dont have to worry that my data/metadata will be deleted. Lot of benefits i actually had to delete a code but then reliazed after 2 months that we would need it again so i went in and restored it, it was quick and i dont have to worry about writing the code and unit test for it. this saved a ton of time for me in development and also in deploying.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best and easy to setup/use tool for back ups. The best part is its not only data but the meta data too. So it is useful for the business users and also for the development team. As a developer i feel safe and never worry about any data/Metadata.

Flexible Options to back up data including files. Flexible schedule

What do you dislike about the product?
Sandbox seeding is not included with base package. This is one of the critical feature needed for any company and should be part of base package

Data back up to be able to handle any unexpected data corruption

What do you like best about the product?
There are many things I like about OwnBackup. What I like best is the confidence it provides me when doing mass imports, updates, and deletions. I also like the full weekly backups as well as the daily incremental backups, the easy recovery process, the ability to drill down into specific records, and the excellent customer support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still fairly new to the platform, therefore still getting acquainted with the system. My only wish is that the onboarding process was a bit more thorough. I would have liked to go through a specific use case of a minor loss as well as what to do in a disaster situation. Other than that, everything has been great so far and I feel confident that if any issues arise I will be able to have them solved in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before implementing OwnBackup, we were only backing up our Salesforce data with the weekly exports. If we lost our data, we would have had to go through the painful process of doing a completely manual restore. With OwnBackup, we are assured that our data is backed up and safe, and that if disaster struck we would be able to restore all of our data and most of our metadata with little issue. I feel more comfortable doing mass imports and deletions since I am able to do incremental or full backups before a mass update of records.

The ability to backup/compare data and meta data from all instances of Salesforce with ease. The GUI allows you to easily confirm your data is secure and explore trends. The solution is intuitive and easy to use even for new Salesforce users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have is there is no way to organize backups, such as folders. The solution delivers what is promises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OwnBackup gives me confidence that our data is safe. Should an unexpected data change happen, we can restore to a known good state. It is the ultimate data insurance policy.

We haven't come across any real issues yet. The UX and features are more than what meets our needs.

We have been able to use OwnBackup to seamlessly move data or restore data to multiple environments without any hassle. It's truly a set it and forget it. We even get daily notifications to make sure our jobs are not failing.

What do you like best about the product?
Amazing user experience, it's simple UI and very easy to use. We can create as many jobs you want. It has lot of options to exclude particular data like history tables, chatter API, etc. It is customizable and optimizable so that OwnBackup doesn't consume all of org governor limits. It has alerting mechanism to alert individuals and team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI for data comparison between backup jobs can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The OwnBackup support is very flexible to work with and their responses are fast. The support team will immediately look into the issues and they try to resolve as quick as possible. They help you how to optimize your backup process and how to give priority between jobs etc.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and maintain. We were able to back-up our production and sandboxes easily. Whenever we have a change we wish to roll-back, it is easier to identify the previous version for it automatically keeps track of the changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do not have anything I dislike at this time. However, I would like to suggest having a module that allows us to revert changes easily per component/file.
