Peace of Mind
What do you like best about the product?
OwnBackup is simple to use. Just set it up and it takes care of itself basically.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a few more setting options such as report format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You always think there is no need for backup because all your stuff is on the cloud, but you don't think about what would be involved in the restore process. We now have a definitive plan.

A must in Backup
What do you like best about the product?
Clean easy UI, perfect solution to backup your cloud data.
What do you dislike about the product?
They basically do what they promise, easy way to backup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to make manual backups of our salesforce instances both production and sandboxes, which was very time consuming and sometimes running into problems. Own backup just solved for that, scheduled backups, set it, and forget about it.
Spectacular Backup Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The OwnBackup tool has an easy-to-use interface that allows for quick setup of backup copes of Production and sandbox orgs. The backups are easy to find and the provided dashboard allows for quick identification of what records are changing/deleting. Super easy to set up and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike with OwnBackup. The only thing that could work better is getting to specific SObjects records within a backup. The dashboard allows you to choose which object to review but clicking to open the backup will take you to the full backup where you have to select the SObject you are looking for, again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OwnBackup provides part of our disaster-recovery. We have relied on it multiple times due to Salesforce outages, user errors or grabbing historical data for reporting. The ability to backup the metadata has also allowed us to monitor changes with our development and restore if we have issues with newer development

Astounding Service - A Required Application
What do you like best about the product?
I have and will continue to highly recommend OwnBackup to all Salesforce organizations with any data volume larger than what could be manually reconciled after disaster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not personally experienced a downside for OwnBackup's service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization utilizes OwnBackup for backups and to restore data after corruption.
Best one out there in the field!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy interface to navigate around. Super easy to restore files. And love the fact that history files are saved - VALUABLE!
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation for SOQL filtering needs more documentation with many more examples.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The field tracking history files have been invaluable! With the backups I was able to provide evidence of integration process that went out of control!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the best backup service for Salesforce orgs. I strongly recommend it! The days of weekly data export is over!
A really powerful product!
What do you like best about the product?
We like the way we can quickly and easily manage out backups, export our data, and have assurance that all of our information in Salesforce is backed up. We have even used the products to perform restores of accidently deleted records, and that was very easy and quick to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - we really do love the product!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having assurance that we have a good backup of all our Salesforce data. The benefits we have realized were that our previous solution was on Platform, now we have assurance that in an eventuality that we could not access Salesforce we can still get to our precious business data

We think it really is the leading Salesforce backup solution.

OwnBackup is really helpful to safe guard the production environment.

I like the org comparison to have a quick view of the discrepancy of two orgs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the seeding function would be simple as one click.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There was a time when I refreshed the full copy sandbox. After the refresh, there was an issue with the new refreshed sandbox. I had to compare it with the backup one. I found out the differences between the production instance and the old full sandbox.
