The team sleeps better at night
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use platform for both administrators or developers and is ultra fast to bring to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scaling can be prohibitive for some busines units that are not as mature in their DevOps practices. Value is not realized with low maturity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ownbackup is providing full and partial backups on all Salesforce environments. It also provides archiving capabilities to optimize storage space. We are saving $ and also meeting engineering compliance.

Peace of mind when you need it most
What do you like best about the product?
The documentation that they provide in the knowledge center is very detailed and contains all the information that is needed to work with their products.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some issues with some very large objects that we were trying to backup during our onboarding. Support helped us through the process and resolved the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to back up all of our data within the org, in our production and sandbox environments. We are now implementing archiving to help lower core storage utilization.
Perfect tool for the job. Creates huge piece of mind
What do you like best about the product?
Using OwnBack up is such an easy process. I use the backup function for Salesforce data and Sandbox seeding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything I do not like about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed me to easily create backups of our Salesforce data, whereas before, it was a manual process. The sandbox seeding function also means we have the correct data when testing and using sandboxes. Sandbox seeding creates peace of mind that the data we are using isn't actual customer data.

What do you like best about the product?
We reviewed multiple different Salesforce backup solutions, but OwnBackup was the clear winner. Not only do they have a robust backup and archival platform, their service and support is among the best out there among SaaS companies! They will help you every step of the way to ensure you're set up properly and will guide you through any processes if you ever get stuck for any reason. With training, the tool is simple and intuitive to use and there are no storage limits!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about OwnBackup. They are the complete package!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OwnBackup ensures that all of our data is safely backed up in the event of data corruption, changes, or failure of any kind. We use the archival component to save on Salesforce storage space. We can see the archived data directly within Salesforce and so you can't even tell it's being stored on OwnBackup's servers. We're saving money on Salesforce by not having to pay so much for storage space and we have peace of mind, knowing that we can recover data at any point and store information as long as we want.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Some of the notifcaion are not correct, for example amount of data that were changed and etc
- Ownbackup do not support seeding to production org. from prod to Sandbox we are, from Sendbo to Sandbox we are, but not from anything to production.

Backup of metadata and data of PRD and SB's
I have had a great experience the products we use are all intuitive , work great.
What do you like best about the product?
The Support is top notch. Also great documentation as well as their implementation process that is supported and guided is second to none.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not really found a downside as of yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Archiver, Sandbox seeding, Sandbox randomization , and Backup. We are saving space, backing up the entire org and keeping our data safe.
Great First Year Experience
What do you like best about the product?
OwnBackup was an investment in our Salesforce adoption. As we add more users and invest heavily in our Salesforce instance, we know there are more opportunities for errors and threats. OwnBackup gives us the peace of mind that our data is fully backed up and makes it easy to view data comparisons and restore. The sales process was easy and low-pressure. Support has been very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some data restore scenarios have been more complicated than I would have anticipated and required extensive support assistance. I wish that had been more straightforward, and I could have handled those without help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OwnBackup is helping us protect our Salesforce investment and ensure we have a usable back-up copy of our data.
Excellent training session and product intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I am just getting started with it. Sam gave me and my team an excellent and thorough tutorial I am also very impressed with how intuitive OwnBackup is. Very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any problem with Ownbackup per se. I am concerned about being able to load all of the child objects hanging off of our main objects, especially objects that would correspond to code tables in a traditional Oracle or MsSQL application. It will take a fair amount of experimentation to seed all of the needed objects so that nothing breaks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We'll be able to see our two lowest level test boxes with richer, more complete data. This will help developers and testers.

Positive Feedback on Ownbackup
What do you like best about the product?
Ownbackup is reall easy to use. daily full snapshots backup of both data and meta-data are happens automatically and I'm getting alerts if any issue
What do you dislike about the product?
Ownbackup can do the UI better and more appealing. it's also priced higher than its competitors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ownbackup has the ability to restore data that was deleted or updated with wrong values. we can return to any point of time and update/create the correct data
Quick Response during a tough time
What do you like best about the product?
OwnBackup responded to my request within 15 minutes. They were quick to set up a zoom meeting to walk us through what we needed to do to recover data lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
The technical support was great, nothing disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to recover data lost during a Merge issue.
