Introduction to Memsource for Project Managers
What do you like best about the product?
Analysis. The analysis gives the details of all the information about the document very clearly and easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not yet identified any component of Memsource that I dislike. Everything is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Memsource serves as a tool to work on life-saving documents. The translations are used to communicate with people from different language backgrounds.

phrase pull -> change -> phrase push ;p
What do you dislike about the product?
that it changes the order of translations locally on phrase pull, but I guess that makes sense because it arranges them alphabetically

adding support for multiple languages in an organized and easy way

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the collaborative aspects of Phrase and the possibilities to leave comments or do so much research on the words and their translations. It was very easy to work on Phrase and very flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it was quite long to load. And the fact that the changes don't always automatically save is time taking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to very quickly translate a whole project to develop an app in our country. Phrase enabled a fluid collaboration between my colleagues and me so that it could go faster and benefit from everyone's experiences and capabilities with translation

Very helpful, I do recommend if you need to translate a project, alone or as a group.
Memsource is very intuitive, easy to manage projects and easy to teach to new linguists

It is cloud based, no license needed. Easy to send projects. Easy for linguists with no CAT tool experience to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple file analysis could be improved to give better picture for each file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inexperienced translators with not CAT tool experience are easy to teach. Translators do not need to have their own license. With this we are able to have a greater pool of linguists and be very efficient for our clients.

What do you dislike about the product?
Slow QA process for large files.
You can't undo the merge process if done on a couple of files.
You have to fix or ignore each QA issue to be able to make the file 100% confirmed.

how to manage a localization project easily through all stakeholders and with different translation phases
most benefits I got that I found the tool well-integrated to other tools and API makes it too good, and my main problem is how to deal with several tools for some purposes and that integration helped me a lot.

This is an overall best translation management tool that achieves all your translation purposes and makes you don't need any other translation add ons, plug-ins, and connectors
My experience was Brief and interesting but I think with practice it’s gonna be perfect.

It saves time and help us be more productive.

I am more familiar with Memoq Q how to add TBs and TMs but with more practice will be familiar with memsource too.

Certainly, Memsource help me to translate my documents and files very effortlessly. And it is very convenient and handy. I really enjoy working on Memsource. Kudos to the team of Memsource.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, I have not find any downside in using Memsource. It's perfect. Best part is, it never gets hanged. I have a very old laptop(2014 model). However, some CAT tools websites are slow loading.
But although my laptop is old, I didn't find any issue in loading Memsource.

It has a translation memory, by which I don't have to translate the same words or sentences again. It reduces my work and I can work more effectively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please take my advice, use Memsource for translating your documents. It is easy to keep records of your translations. And also it is best for those who are new to Translation field.

The layout is intuitive and straightforward.

Sometimes MT is not very accurate, but this is not on Memsource.

I can work faster, and that's very important if you have a lot of translation projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the ease of consuming the phrase localization APIs while apps development. Great support for different file types !!! Simplified and descriptive documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish, I knew about phrase earlier in my career it could have solved too many hurdles in my product development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing diff language properties files/words in the application, which varied depending on geo-location is now solved with the help of phrase API's.
