Very smooth and straight to the point.
What do you like best about the product?
The number of possibilities, connectors and how easy it is to manage content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels like Phrase was built for smaller companies and projects.
It lacks some improvements for taking bulk actions and managing a high volume of jobs per week.
(example: every time creating jobs analyses and quotes, should be automatically; when handling an on going project, the list of jobs gets too long which makes it harder to navigate between jobs and add some more loading time to the page)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivering faster localization by managing and connecting all our UI content with our agency and freelancers
New editor has made the user experience terrible with the amount of malfunctions
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the interface is clean and pleasant. It feels very user friendly and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new editor has really made the experience a terrible one. By saving things, moving on, and realizing your work was actually not saved, for example, and other things that seriously disrupt good work. There are also a few functions missing in regards to the possibility of assigning jobs or creating term bases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Phrase Strings for all localization for our app. It benefits the company because it is functional. It lacks translation management tools in regards to the administrative side with freelance translators.
It was a great tool for the translations and retrieving the content and use in our applications.
What do you like best about the product?
Firstly the tool is very user-friendly. It is very easy to onboard all the country locales and add the keys and the values. The changes we make in Phrase instantly reflect in the application, there is no need of deployment. Everything is on the flow and ready for testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I faced issues with the initial setup and integrate with our application.
Our application was a java application and the jar was not available in the maven repository.
The jar was made available after raising the ticket to Phrase support. After the issue is resolved, it was very smooth.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The translations for all the languages where our application is available and also the translations can be done directly by the market users if they need any changes instead of reaching to developer team.
Very smart and agile tool but with a big performance issue.

- Cooporation with teams
- Features like (jobs, auto translate, glossary, etc)
- smart way to handle translations and projects
- branching system
- new Editor mode

What do you dislike about the product?
- User license costs
- Big Performance issues (it takes ages to create a branch or merge a branch with large among of keys)
- Export option of the users with their data as an Excel file

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase is solving the problem of auto translating texts and words. Also allows a step to review the translations for specific user. The feature jobs allows us to assigne specific translations to specific users especially with the job templates. Completly removes the need of forwarding excel files internally to review translations or create. Reduces time overall to manage translations.
Delightful and time-saving experience for all roles involved in product development
What do you like best about the product?
One clear interface, one source of truth. It helped to streamline our development process in so many ways. It made the working lives better for frontend, backend, design, UX, marketing, etc. It saves a lot of time and head-scratching. It removed text/copy-writing as a bottleneck; in short, as long as the key is in the code and the language file is part of your repository, you're good to go.
For UX Writers/Content Designers, the interface brings focus and removes all the annoying administrative work that came before.
Auto-translation/Pre-translation rocks. Selecting your own preferred translation service (Google Translate, Deepl, etc) and combining that with the termbase we set up in Phrase saves a lot of time.
It opened up the possibility to easily add another language to our products, which made our customers very happy.
Access to the Phrase API made it possible for us to set up a workflow where we auto-export every day, which creates a merge request in Gitlab. A bot we built auto-approves the Phrase merge request and merges it. No developer involved in bringing improved texts to our users.
Price/quality is insanely good: competitors who might be better are 10x more expensive (and marginally better).
I've done both the integration/admin part and also using it as UX Writer myself: it's wonderful from all those perspectives.

What do you dislike about the product?
Getting accustomed to the interface took a while, and getting to the desired page can take some clicking around.
We made a big order via Phrase and paid quite a lot of money, while in turn the term base was not used. Apparently, it's better to use the Advanced Textmaster integration. A heads-up would've been nice before placing the order. We didn't receive any apologies or refunds. We won't be ordering any translations via Phrase anymore.
We split up our frontend in several projects, which makes syncing of keys not ideal.
Figma plugin works nicely, but it took a while. It doesn't handle bulk actions; auto-detect which key should link with an existing text layer (even when content is exactly the same) is not available. Other solutions do this better but haven't spent the same time with them as with Phrase. It's not that big of a deal, just make sure you start with Phrase right after creating a Figma file. It's worth the time investment when you start copying designs and handover to development.
Over the Air feature for mobile apps looks cool at first impression, but it has more downsides than simply pulling the latest language files when building a new release (and with our weekly release schedule errors are fixed quickly).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Removes bottlenecks: design adds a Phrase key and placeholder text in Figma designs, development can continue by already implementing the key and doesn't have to wait until the UX Writer has completed the final texts in Phrase.
It auto-translates to all the available languages in our products, which saves time and removes it as a bottleneck.

Friendly solution and convenient when handling translations of solutions for several countries
What do you like best about the product?
Very useful for handling translations of strings for several countries. I also like very much the new feature for suggesting translations using AI. I like also its feature to add pics and comments to put those strings in context. Furthermore, it has a very easy way to add contributors to each Phrase project with different roles
What do you dislike about the product?
In general I like all its features and I don't have special complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It creates repositories of translations for our different projects that can be loaded easily in our solutions. This way we are more productive.
Best CAT tool ever!
What do you like best about the product?
User friendliness, easy of navigating the tool, the intuituviness of the UI and all the possible add-ons and implementations the tool offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! It could be more "translator" friendly, but I love it the way it is!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It definitely helps with consistency and speed, as well with word counts for invoicing.
Easy to use and more functions and options
What do you like best about the product?
Menus are simple and the options are very clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
Availability offline is not included.
some times it crashes.
some times it crashes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it solves the problem of working from anywhere.
Easy to learn TMS
What do you like best about the product?
With a good internet connection you can work online from anywhere. Your computer doesn't have to meet any special requirements - even an ordinary computer will do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more quality assurance tools and filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My clients can easily assign projects to me and I don't have to purchase an expensive CAT tool license to accept translation/revision jobs.
Great tool to handle translations
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use / good filtering / autopilot / import of keys and translations
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to mention - I don't have any complains
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We handle all our local translations with the tool. The translation keys are added to the code by our developers, and as a Product, I simply need to update the keys in Phraseapp when needed. It's also very easy to find and update the translation when needed.
