It's a user friendly and easy to use program
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily look up terms in target and source text for consistency.

There is no possibility of exporting a word file of the target translation

User friendly, simple UI workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and user friendly UI, relatively faster than other online translation editors, ability to work offline by downloading the work files
What do you dislike about the product?
I would want to download the project TM for offline work, which is much faster than online work.
The QA can be tedious with lots of false alarms. I believe QA results should be more refined and on-the-spot

What do you like best about the product?
Phrase TMS is very user-friendly and simple to use. I like the streamlined interface and the fact that it can be used online from any computer. I can easily manage my translation memories and term bases. Translating is a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to search in the translation memories from the translation page. I sometimes cannot find what I am looking for even though I know it's in there somewhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a product that I could use online, cloud-based, to translate faster and organize my translation memories.
Using Phrase in academic environment
What do you like best about the product?
Among the upsides definitely are straight-forward and user friendlty interface. a variety of useful features incuding but not limited to workflow management, term base management. pre-translation analysis, term extraction, project templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular to be mentioned here. However. it would be great if the system could process pdf files (though it might be a restriction just for academic license users).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teach CAT tools at the university. To me. Phrase is an ideal instrument for familiarizing translation students with cutting-edge technology and simulating lifelike environments for translation project management.

Having access to everything I need on a single platform. Also being able to access any projects online and keeping them stored safely.

I have had no issues with Memsource so far.

Being able to keep all projects in one place and knowing where I am with each of them. This saves me time.

UI/UX tool is easy to learn and implement in figma.

Can't consutlate key inventor from figma, must open tool in browser. The list should be available from the plugin
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to create several mock-ups for each language. Just one language and that's it. No need to update each language file, which saves a lot of time. I don't have to worry about text and can focus on what I do best.
A good tool for browser based translations
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is easy to set up and add TMs, TBs and all that is needed to do consistent work. It has many features that make working with a TMS easier and more accesible to those who are newer to the translation field. It is user friendly for beginner translators. It is easy to integrate with APIs and Connectors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Showing matches in the CAT tab sometimes becomes confusing and the Search function would need some refinement. Some of the features that other desktop based CAT tools have are missing, which would be useful for veteran translators.

It helps in translation. It does not solve issues as per se, it is rather a tool that helps in everyday work.

What do you like best about the product?
As an iOS developer, I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of software development kits and tools, but I must say that the Phrase SDK has truly impressed me. This powerful tool has significantly enhanced our project development process, making it more efficient and streamlined. The over-the-air strings update feature is a massive relief, it avoids having a new release just to fix some typos. The website is very clear and usable for all the figures involved on the project, so there is no need to have a CS background to use it. We use it a lot, and all the changes are versioned.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the Phrase SDK is its seamless integration into our iOS project. Setting it up was a breeze, and it worked flawlessly with our existing codebase. The support from the Phrase team is exceptional. Any questions or issues we've encountered have been addressed promptly.

It would be nice to have different strings for different platforms.

Having consistent localization between different app platforms. Avoid release a new version for a few typos.

Simple to use, with project-based management and fast workflow thanks to the Figma plugin for importing, exporting and modifying phrase keys.

The user roles could be improved to allow the creation of personalised user roles according to our needs.

Phrase string has made it much easier for us to manage the translations and localization of our applications.
