A 5 Stars Translation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is an essential tool to my daily work. Comparing to other translation softwares I have tried, Phrase is a more user-friendly tool with an intuitive layout which helps you working faster. Moreover, it also facilitates the process of following-up and differentiating all the translated and untranslated content without any problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be implement more auto-suggesting options which would improve the translator experience even more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase perfectly addresses the need to translate in-app content efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is ideal tool for localisation management, when you don't want to do localisation in-house. Also offers well documented and stable API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Number of allowed users for all price plans are just not enough and can become big problem for big teams with developers/translators/QA....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to create work flow between FE developers - translators and final product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Phrase is even better solution when you want to let them do the translations and you are not looking just for translation management tool.

I can't think of any! It's just a great tool!

What do you dislike about the product?
Loading may get long sometimes. Refreshing the page helps fix it though.
Also, supporting specific language characters (automatically inserting French's non-breaking spaces when typing a question mark, for example), like other CAT tools do, would be the perfect final touch.

Working more easily, faster, better, with developers and translators/reviewers.
Simple, very usefull App!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple and works super fast. It also have all the necessary options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Maybe sometimes it's too simple ( should have 2-3 functionallities more ).

I translate all the apps in my company with Phrase App.

Very useful for managing copy & translations
What do you like best about the product?
We move quickly and copy changes often. We also have to translate copy into various languages. Phrase makes it really straightforward to do this. Projects are split into locales and the respective copywriter is notified when there's copy for them to add.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is less a downside of Phrase, but more that we're not utilising functionality they have. We'd want to change copy without having to make a new release / it's not always possible to get translations before we want to release. Phrase do have support (OTA), but we've yet to try it out!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has made copy a much easier process

What do you like best about the product?
The branches feature is very great, it allows us to match our git branches system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sad we can only merge branches to master. We unfortunately can't yet merge a branch A into a branch B, which makes our workflow less smooth than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase makes our development workflow smoother thanks to the branches. Thanks to that, writers can update wordings from the UI without the help of developers.
Phrase is a wonderful & user-friendly translation management system for projects online
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy and intuitive to use Phrase. I just logged in and started to work with it from the beginning without any instruction.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downside of using Phrase. Only thing I had was the size of the window of the original text, I contacted them regarding this matter and they got back to me immediately. The Phrase team seem to be open to feedbacks and are willingly to improve, which I am very impressed and appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I translate a website from German and English to Japanese. For natural and fluent translation, one needs to be aware of contexts as well as meanings of original texts and Phrase is just perfectly made for it. I can work efficiently with Phrase. If there is a mistake, it is easy to spot it and correct it, too. There is a comment section to leave messages or questions to other translators, so it is optimized for a good team work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an efficient and user-friendly tool for translation projects online, I recommend Phrase 100%, for it works wonderfully. It is so innovative and has overturned my image of translation positively.
Easy to use and integrate
What do you like best about the product?
As a developer I really like the ease of use and integration. Good choice of options to import your current translations, that covers 99% of the cases available out there. The configuration file is easy to setup and use. The CLI and related documentation come in very handy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the Jobs flow improved a little to make it a seamless process of assigning and approval of jobs before making it live. On the other hand it is nice to see how little friction there is at the moment to make a change fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managed to avoid a code deployment for content changes. The interface helps involve the parties responsible for the translations. The process of making a change has become a lot more transparent from the person requesting it to the time it becomes available to the consumer.
