Phrase helped us automate our localisation management
What do you like best about the product?
We really liked the CLI tool as it helped us completely automate updating the localisation files in our project which was a tedious manual task before. It also helps our managers to keep track the progress of the localisation and missing translations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface could use some improvement and redesign but overall it's still easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to automate our localisation management and that exactly what we did with Phrase and its CLI tool. Now we have everything automated and the devs don't have to manually copy paste translations anymore, everything is up to date all the time.

Essential for localization string organizing without chaos
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is clean and easy to use. We usually have tens and thousands of strings in our developing apps. Phraseapp provides an excellent interface to organize them in one place. You can easily re-write a string, and then just tap a button to next string to continue editing. It's really life-saving when you are dealing with the giant string table. Another cool thing is that Phraseapp supports plural form editing, and it fits well with iOS and Android's plural form formats. That's essential for app development.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is designed for desktop and barely usable on the phone. Phraseapp complies 2-column UI in their interface, and it shrinks the spaces in mobile phones. Just a suggestion that they can do some responsive design in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a designer in the small-scale startup, I have to review the text used in our product from time to time during development. That often involved hundreds of string. For example, we finished a massive translation with help from a contract. I have to review all text and find out what's missing. I relied on Phraseapp's interface to make it a relatively easy job. It would cost ten times of effort without Phraseapp. The iteration happens all the time during development. Without Phraseapp, I can't imagine how I can make them done on time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try Phrase out, when your app or service has a massive string table. It's worthwhile. You will be happy with this decision.
A enjoyable tool that you can't missed in the multilingual apps development
What do you like best about the product?
As a developer, I personally like the CLI tool which provides an simple way to upload and sync the locale files. It is effortless in each steps and I love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The In-Context editor is a beautiful and efficient tool for multilingual development as well, but somehow it requires sign in Phrase account frequently is a little bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Phrase in multiple projects, it helps in organizing and tracing each translation. Anyone could easily import or modify the translations without too much effort.
UI takes a bit of getting used to but everything is smooth and easy
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to navigate between each job and showing past translations with high match rate helps a lot when translating! I also like being able to see completion rate that shows how far I am from completing the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was using another portal (Smartling) before so UI took a bit of getting used to but now I'm a full-on Phrase user and nothing to complain so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Translation projects assigned and worked on in an organized & systematized way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to use, navigate and see an overview of each project's progress. Highly recommend it!

A faster way to do my job
What do you like best about the product?
There are 2 major things that makes me like Phrase app: 1st allows to research for a key on a really easy and fast way, and 2nd it has a grammar checker.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it should recognize more words and phrases that have already been translated in the past and have the same copy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you have a rebranding, Phrase allow us, in a really fast way, to change all the keys that still have the old brand's name on it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should definitely give it a try in case you need to translate your content into several different languages
