I like NFG
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is in one place, and it is easy to create a communication, see if it is opened, see if recipients liked it, and see donations too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I always dislike learning new software, but this one is pretty easy to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can collaborate with my coworkers on things and it has made it easier to work together during the pandemic.
The platform offers friendly customer care with all the tolls I need for fundraising in one place.
What do you like best about the product?
One place fundraising tool; peer-to-peer platform; collation and aggregation of donations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess I receive too many emails pointing me to one tool or the other while I have what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We send mass emails, letters to persons without email addresses, aggregate donors, filtering for donor managment. I was elated to realize that we could use it for peer-to-peer fundraising.

Definitely Gets the Job Done!

This software allows for SUCH easy tracking of donors and donations. No more worrying about IF we sent out receipts or thank yous!

Using the templates to make and edit newsletters could be a bit more user-friendly. Although that could be just me not knowing what I am doing too.

We are very happy with Network for Good!
What do you like best about the product?
We like how easy it is to communicate with contacts. It's great that we can text or email from the platform. Most notably, we can send a personal video!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love that to look someone up, we can't type in their partial name. So we need to remember if someone is in the system as Jon or Jonathan, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so easy to create fundraising pages. It has made work easier to reach out to donors and even have champions use the fundraising pages so they can reach out!
Guidance Matters
What do you like best about the product?
In over 20 years of working with donor databases, I have learned that when working with a limited staff, having a donor management platform that is user-friendly and customer-focused matters tremendously. Network for Good has been top-notch in solution management for our team, and we appreciate their prompt service solutions and quality customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fortunately, we have not encountered any negative situations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Network for Good is helping us to solve database validation issues that resulted from file duplication. With their help, we have better access to our prospect projections hidden in our data files.
Easy to Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good is easy to navigate in comparison to some other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system is better for smaller nonprofits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is nice that you can have an all-in-one system with communication tools.
Making a difference
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good has been a positive addition to our programming. It allows up to streamline our donor tracking, efficiently thank our donors, send out virtual newsletters, and coordinate fundraising campaigns. We have just scratched the surface with this platform and are excited to see how it will continue to benefit our program in the long term.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a feature to set up personal tutorials for new hires who will work with this technology. We have utilized some of the NFG tutorials, but some have not met our questions or needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been increasing donor retention through this service. We had noticed we were losing donors due to inefficient tracking methods and the timeliness of responses. As we become more comfortable with the software, we plan to increase our efforts and step out of our traditional comfort zone to send virtual video thank-yous and utilize the campaign feature more.
One stop solution for all your CRM and network management needs
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good has been a tremendous change at the Fargo Air Museum! We have all of our solutions to CRM and our donor network marketing in one spot. We can market quickly and efficiently to our network in new ways we never knew we could do. We can also get new staff up to speed very quickly with an easy-to-use user interface. All this at a very reasonable cost!!
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that I dislike about Network for Good. Their support and products are always top-notch...plus new options and functions are coming out regularly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can effectively and efficiently reach out to our network for all fundraising campaigns that we are running. We are also working on utilizing additional software functions to continue serving our community and donors in the most professional way possible.
Network for Good Good but Pricing Disappoints
What do you like best about the product?
As director of development at Catholic Spirit Radio, I'm most appreciative that Network for Good (N4G) provides networks for managing donors and campaigns. Since joining up with N4G in May 2021, we have initiated six fundraising campaigns and have used N4G to significant effect in each one of them. We have created Everyday Giving campaigns as well as ticketed events. We have drafted a peer-to-peer campaign we will use in the coming months. What I like so much about these N4G-based campaigns is that we can easily integrate them into our on-air broadcasts, as well as our website, emails, and social media. The graphical representations are pretty appealing and, therefore, effective. I appreciate how we can get information about our donors that was not readily available before with a prior donor management system. I also appreciate the tremendous amount of support we receive for using the N4G management system. If we have a question, we can find answers both easily and quickly. Because I am responsible for training others in using the system, I'm delighted with the easy learning curve. Everything seems to be very logical, and I rarely find myself referring to training materials. Once trained, my office workers have very few questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The big downside is how NFG seems to have put the major players ahead of the minor players. With our first-year subscription, we received a good event and ticketing package. That has been taken away and replaced with a "free" package of inferior quality. Any time events go over 30 participants or we want to use different ticket types, we must either pay $500 per event or buy into a $2,000 events package that includes all sorts of "extras" that we neither want nor need. This would nearly double the cost of NFG for us!!! We are a small non-profit with only several hundred donors. If we knew at the outset what we know now, we probably wouldn't have gone with NFG. A year into it, we are now "too invested" in NFG to change to another donor management system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most significant help to me has been the development of campaigns. The layouts are visually appealing and the content comprehensive. There are many "leading questions" that help ensure that we include all the critical information. We now have multiple avenues for addressing our fundraising needs.
