Love NFG!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the communication offerings, such as email blasts, texts, direct mail, and especially so the personal video option for donors. Fantastic tools available!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that reporting function is difficult to manage. There is a bit of a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being more strategic with our donor cultivation and management has improved with Network for Good. I also like the management system of the fundraising campaigns as well.
One of the Best donation management systems
What do you like best about the product?
There are features for everything you need to manage the donors, from campaign design to emailers and more. Network for good is the one-stop solution for any nonprofits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the things work for me. Maybe there can be more features and templates for newsletters. Also if there can be videos on the usage of the product it will help people with no experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Network for good for donor management and to raise funds for our organization. We feel that the backend is organized well, and it's easy to use for anyone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a comprehensive donor management system, then go for Network For Good.
I have had the best experience with the Network for Good product.
What do you like best about the product?
The Network for Good makes keeping donors updated on our organization very easy. I have used it to write letters, emails and even text messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improving the interface between QuickBooks and the network would allow for easier use. The process of uploading a spreadsheet is a bit cumbersome and has required workarounds to ensure there are no duplicate files created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have found that increased communications with our donors directly correlate to increased giving. The ease of communication allows the process to require less time and energy from myself and the staff.
Great system!
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good is a great solution for small non-profit organizations like mine. It's wonderful to have the donors and email communication all in one place. I also love the event functions. It's a one-stop solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like for there to be option to speak to a person on the phone when I'm having problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved the issue of having donor emails and information in different places. I like having everything in one place.
Network for Good checks all the boxes!
What do you like best about the product?
It's hard to find a system to support all fundraising/database needs but NFG does it! NFG is user-friendly and provides an appealing interface. I love their very helpful videos too!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. NFG is super responsive to feedback and are continually making improvements to the system based on user feedback!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to do all our fundraising, communication, outreach, and database mgmt from the site. No more using a bunch of different systems and duplicative recordkeeping.
Donor Management and Events
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create ticketing and seperate links for each event. Downloading Excel spreadsheets of participants. Uploading spreadsheets to contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
When cloning events, I wish the questions for each ticket type cloned would carry over as well. We have the same type of event several times a year and I have to redo all the questions for every ticket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed ticket sales and info gathering. LOVE the automatic "do you want to make an additional donation" question. These extra donations pay for the service and then some.
Great solution for All Sized Non Profits
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good works really well as an all-inclusive fundraising and 'supporter' management system. We love using it for more than just fundraising: keeping in touch with supporters, communicating information about our nonprofit, and more. Great to have all our tools in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few downsides to NfG, and it takes a while to even think of any off the top of my head. The donation pages themselves could definitely be a bit more customizable (for more advanced users), but for organizations that want to have a clean and ready-made page to use on the fly, their system works rather well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a much more comprehensive and query-able donor management system now with NfG. We can now easily segment our supporters and send targetted communications without having to download and sort endless excel sheets. Life-saver!
The product is easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the way that NFG customer service reps are helpful and patient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to create filters. It seems that if multiple filters were pre-programmed as much as possible, it would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping donorbase up to date is the best thing we've done with NFG. The benefits of recording messages, texting, etc. is also great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Seek a platform with good customer service. NFG has that!
Volunteer Manager
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard - get to see lots of data without running a report
Mass, segmented e-mails/texts w/videos
Ability to list in-kind values of volunteer hours
User friendly
Mass, segmented e-mails/texts w/videos
Ability to list in-kind values of volunteer hours
User friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot track # of volunteer hours and automatically calculate values within NFG - must calculate first in Excel, then transfer values to NFG as in-kind gifts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More seamless communication. Helping volunteers see the monetary value of their time. I use less time to create communications. Creating videos is a snap! We don't have a great camera/video equipment, so my lap top, with NFG, becomes a powerful tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
NFG may appear pricey but the cost is worth every penny. Our org was woefully lacking in the area of donor development. We chose to add a fundraising/development coach for the first year. It was a TREMENDOUS benefit. And the video/communication capabilities were excellent tools as our subscription started a few months before our shut-down due to Covid. Fundraising didn't even experience a hiccup.
Easy to Use Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of using NFG is the unprecedented support. There are office hours, free classes & expert coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could get more insights on text blasts. I think this is more the nature of cell service than NFG
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping up with contacts, people moving, record keeping that we can give ro our fiscal sponsor.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When selecting a well rounded solution for administration of a non-profit NFG meets the challenges faced by small & large organizations
