Intuitive, User-Friendly, Cohesive
What do you like best about the product?
Unlike other solutions, BGF actually is a fully integrated solution for nonprofits. They get that nonprofits run on shoestrong staff, stretched in a hundred directions. Their product is easy to use, fully integrated, without making staff jump through hoops to make one side speak to the other.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can see that from a major gift portfolio standpoint the database is not as easy to monitor your work and/or portfolio of relationships.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've worked at many different nonprofits, and also as a consultant for nonprofits, and in my opinion this is the best solution I've seen that fully integrates communication and fundraising into one platform. No importing/exporting from outside platforms, everything is consolidated in and one so easy to export any and all fields a data geek like me may want to export.
Recommend Bonterra Guided Fundraising (formerly NFG) highly!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Bonterra is that iit is easy to use and a true one stop shop that intergrated your website, donor database and communications. We are a small organization and having one systems for all these functions has saved us time and helped us increase our funds.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have anything I do not like about the system. I am hopeful that Bonterra will continue to add AI functions, like donor follow up emails and more to the systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we used Bonterra we had lists of donors on different systems. For example, we had a good list on Mail Chimp but it wasn't always updated with new interests or new donors. Having all of these funcation on one systems is a game changer.
Every Fundraising Need in One Package
What do you like best about the product?
The platform offers all the elements needed for donor management, including a variety of communication platforms, and for fundraising efforts, such as event ticketing and silent auctions. We've used it all and couldn't be happier with the ease and functionality. Three of our staff use the platform every day, and we are very pleased with customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being charged for records with zero dollar donations. We have many subscribers, such as local media, who are not donors, but who receive our monthly digital newsletter; each of those non-revenue generating records increase the price of our Bonterra subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform functionality is one of the easiest to learn. We've had a bit of turnover since implementing in July 2020, but teaching new staff is not difficult. Plus the online help guides are excellent, and customer support is very responsive.
A perfect fit for what we do.
What do you like best about the product?
Having everything in one place has been a relief for us. We are a small organization, and we used to bounce between five different programs for forms, emails, database, donor management, and whatever else we need. Now it's all coordinated and in one accessible piece of software. Customer support has been wonderful, and having all the FAQ's and videos available has been extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email builder can be a little clunky. There is a definitely a learning curve for it, and it is the one element that I schedule extra time for when I need to explain it to staff or board members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our contacts and donors are in one place now. The information is searchable and easily accessible. We can track donation amounts, campaigns, everything.
Excellent
What do you like best about the product?
Importing of data from excel was far easier than i expected and navigating the system is very simple
What do you dislike about the product?
Donation made via check requires much more direct input than dontions made via the online portal
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Donor management. We went from using an outdated Excel spreadsheet to managing donor informing in this system.
User friendly, replaced multiple platforms
What do you like best about the product?
We recently (in the last year) switched to Network for Good as our donor management system. It was a huge upgrade to our previous system and we love the ease at which we are able to communicate with our donors. Being able to send them personal videos or thanks yous has increased our donor satisfation and our knowlege of how donors come to our agency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all systems, credit card processing fees are sometimes a deturent for donors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Network for Good has been able to be seemlessly integrated into our website and is easy for donors to access.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the platform's emphasis on the donor (client) and its ability to monitor our interactions with them. The diverse communication options for reaching out to clients are advantageous, and I find it beneficial that clients have the autonomy to create their own profiles, reducing the likelihood of errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the way it works so far. Not really a dislike, just a comment.
I would appreciate it if, after reviewing a record, the system could return to our previous location instead of toggling to the beginning. Although this is not a major concern. Additionally, when navigating through donors under the giving tab, it would be highly beneficial if we could easily view both their overall donation amount for the year and their current donation. This would eliminate the need to export sheets solely for the purpose of checking yearly donation amounts.

Easy way of communication with our donors, payment options, safe credit card information, easy to send communication to one or many donors.
Helping Us Do More Good!
What do you like best about the product?
Using Bonterra Guided Fundraising has been a game changer for us. Their customer support is fantastic (so easy going!) and having a personal coach has been a great help to us. With every meeting we have with Janet we learn new ways of thinking about our fundraising efforts and how to implement those efforts while making the best use of our time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't found any reasons to dislike Bonterra Guided Fundraising. Our only complaint is that we don't have enough hours in a day to put all the features they offer to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bonterra Guided Fundraising is helping us integrate our fundraising data with our donor management database. Additionally, our coach is helping us figure out how best to approach the people who receive our e-blasts and turn them into active monetary donors.
Mediocure platform
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use as a first time user when entering data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Set up for individual contact information instead of business contact information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It isn't solving any problems, it is used as a donor database.
Network for Good enabled me to be more efficient with time.
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to acknowledge our online donations quickly, but still personally. We used to subscribe to constant contact, ticket tailor, and little green light, but now with Network for Good, I'm able to combine the purposes of the three subscriptions in one place. There is a lot of potential things that I haven't had the opportunity to use with Network for Good as well, like giving board members tasks, and the donor plans with the templates and timetables.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service has either been really good or really bad depending on who I got in the moment, unfortunately. It also makes me nervous that Bonterra bought it out, and that the cost of things continues to increase.

I don't know.
