A backup product that just works all the time
What do you like best about the product?
I no longer feel the need to babysit and monitor all of the backup jobs in the backup system. It simply works when it is supposed to at all times. Live recovery is near instant and handles all mounts through the appliance for rapid recovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features missing that are road-mapped for future versions of the software such as support for SQL file-streams. There is a lack of first party tools that allow for native application item level understandings, it does use a 3rd party tool to accomplish this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automatic backup and archive of server data for our virtual server environment. Rubrik covers everything and handles the long term retention to boot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at it as one of a two system backup strategy for protecting your organizations data. It balances jobs automatically and just works.
