What do you like best about the product?
I really like how it simplifies tasks across the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
...Product wise, nothing. But I do wish it had better integration, or any integration into Salesforce or other tools that I am in heavily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems we are solving revolve around project management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great for project management and any sort of team collaboration task tracker

What do you like best about the product?
- Multiple views to see what your most pressing todos are.
- Extremely generous free tier allows you to do a lot with a small team.
- Workspaces allow you to work with multiple accounts and domains in one dashboard.
- Excellent kanban board functionality for todo lists, product roadmaps, and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
- You can't completely delete a Workspace, you can only leave it, even if you're the only member inside that workspace.
- File management could be better to stay organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Asana to manage our projects and todo lists. This helps us stay accountable to each other as the todo lists are reviewed in our weekly management meetings. We also use it to track projects, delegate tasks, add dependencies, and more. It's a great overall system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're trying to run your business as lean as possible, Asana is an excellent project management tool. I've tried Trello, Workflowy, and a vast assortment of other tools, but nothing has worked for me quite like Asana has. I would recommend it as a staple solution in your software toolbox.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can track your agile project on a board and see your list of tasks and what has been done and what is still outstanding
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that if you have more than a few tags on a task that you can not see them from the main screen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce implementations. It helps track my tasks and also lets the client see where we stand. I definitely noticed that visually it makes my team want to work harder to get tasks out of their queue and see their progress
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep doing what you're doing. The more user friendly it is the most successful it will become

Task is the Key

What do you like best about the product?
i like how you can dive your project in small Task and have the control, the team project work over a same place and can see any change on live, is easy comment over a task and have new ideas. the Alerts is a good tool because in any place we have the last news about the project and make sync between the team, has option for mobiles i think need more design but is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
i what to have a big calendar to watch a big picture about all. have one but i think need a better structure, or maybe a better design. i want more options to custom the design, to look more like my brand. maybe a option for video increase the productivity, but i think at future the can implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sync project with all team, this is the first problem we fix with Asana, and the option to shared the files is a good option and safe, the due date help us to make goal about the project, and the easy option to make priorities over the task help to make a project realistic all time. another problem fix is how track the progress in the team this is very good for managed. in general asana is a good tool for track and develop any project, thanks for this app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
integrate a better options for mobile, in the section for task

What do you like best about the product?
I like the task management system. It's super easy to use and organize goals into subtasks, move them around and assign them. It's great for keeping track of progress, accountability and planning. I LOVE the improvements to the look and feel over the past few years.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could use a better file management system. We use other apps for that, but we could use Asana too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It improves efficiency, communication and productivity on teams. (I first used it as a team member in programming, now I use it as an administrator for freelancing.) It also helps me keep track with clients as a freelancer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We used Asana and Google Drive my first time with it, and I implement that combo in my own work as an admin now.

use the free version as a high-level project management tool - great so far

What do you like best about the product?
I like the task view. I use it as a project view and write my task notes in the description box. It's essentially a high-level checklist of all my projects. Then I can click in to each one to see the details I've written in each.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option for the project view to look like the task view. I essentially use the task view as my project view because I don't need to get very granular and set a list of tasks. I just want an at-a-glance view of my project pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to track my individual projects. I don't use it to collaborate on a team.

Great for teams to collaborate and stay on track

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great way to track progress of projects by distributing tasks to different owners. I also like that it's easy to add tasks, sub-tasks, links, and attachments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Asana integrated more seamlessly with the google business suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Holding teammates accountable for tasks, increasing ownership because there is transparency into what parts of the project different teammates own. You can also see whose parts of a project are contingent upon other teammates' work therefore I need to keep up with my deliverables to avoid holding someone else back

Best todo list tool for startup

  • October 19, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Clarity of information (task list, deadlines, progress chart and calendar view)
Flexibility of the tool: creation of tasks and fast sharing, adding document by drag and drop, adding people to notify
Traceability: each task has a history of the versions and each change is timestamped and the author identified
Integration: added tasks by email, notifications, access to Google Drive / Dropbox documents, Zapier automation, synchronization of tasks with Google Calendar, mobile app & browser extension, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to learn how to use each feature of the product as there are so many features. It requires someone who already has some knowledge to be able to guide other team members. They are easy to use once you do work on them, but some users struggle with more specific features such as dashboards, communication tools.

It does not have an in-built instant messaging/chat feature to chat instantly with team mates although they have options to integrate with other softwares for the same functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminate the exchange of emails, Create much stronger synergies between the teams and of course Reach the objectives more quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked that Asana was easy to use and relatively easy to adapt.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say Asana isn't ideal for projects that require parallel steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allowed us to assign responsibilities and see where a project was, step-by-step.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used both Asana and Basecamp, and I'd say I slightly prefer Asana. It is more intuitive.
