Powerful Email Protection
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint Email Protection is an impressive solution that has significantly reduced the amount of spam our organization receives. The end user digest feature gives our users control over bulk & other low priority mail. The URL re-writing with TAP URL Defense as well as the TAP attachment defense are also immensely helpful in protecting our users. Professional services was great to work with throughout the deployment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin GUI can be a bit sluggish at times and could use some enhancement to improve ease of use and functionality; however, it does appear these concerns are being addressed or will be with the new admin GUI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the amount of spam, bulk, phishing, and other undesirable emails in our inboxes. Increasing productivity by reducing the amount of administrative overhead in managing our email gateways.

The best solution I have used for Email Security.
What do you like best about the product?
One benefit after using their platform is the granularity. The email firewall is like a swiss army knife. I have reached out to customer support, and they are very knowledgeable and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I dislike about Proofpoint email security and protection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The granularity provides the necessary features and options that allow our business to provide excellent email security across all of our companies.

What do you like best about the product?
Email Security and TRAP features. It has a solid foundation and has been providing us best email security so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such. Security with Proofpoint is next level.

we are scanning all emails in our domain. we have one roof to manage all our email flow.

What do you like best about the product?
The email security solution is a great tool to protect the organization from phishing and spam emails. It helps with blocking the malicious IPs, email addresses, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The solution needs to be fine-tuned in order to get fewer false positives.

It helps in detecting and quarantining suspicious emails.

Great platform with helpful customer service
What do you like best about the product?
The platform sees continually improvement which is nice to see. I am most looking forward to when the platform fully migrates to the new Administration Platform, currently you must use the older environment to accomplish all tasks, it's a bit scattered everywhere and old looking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Older administration platform that could use a revamp (Currently in progress). Outages aren't often which is great, I do wish they leveraged a statuspage site for the main platform, their PSAT (Formerly Wombat) does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved spam and malware detection through email. Integrating acquired companies is very easy in the platform, their support is extremely helpful at providing guidance or assisting remotely if you are confused with any procedures or documentation.

Proofpoint Email Security and Protection has helped protect corporate email immensely!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to block addresses, email domains, IP's, and to filter based on content.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a slight learning curve, but the tech support is phenomenal!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem solved is phishing attacks. We have reduced the impact of these attacks, even when users click on a phishing link.

Email protection, whitelisting and blacklisting, Anti-Spam, email encryption as well as CASB
Proofpoint - Top of the line multi-layered gateway security
What do you like best about the product?
With a team of seven engineers/analysts, Proopoint makes it possible for us to administer this in a multi-billion dollar, 6-continent company with ease. We've used two very-good competitors prior to Proofpoint and hands down, Proofpoint was by far the easiest to deploy, administer and configure for our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
We occasionally have SLA issues with response times on support tickets, but that is the absolute worst issue we have. If I can say there's joy in using a product, this is it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to show that our security breaches were brought in via email, and most were spear phishing. With Proofpoint products in place, we were able to stay ahead of the curve by quarantining and protecting our environment by pulling ALL copies of email within the product instead of creating an emergency ticket to the Exchange team to find/delete them. GAME CHANGER!
