Industry leading email security
What do you like best about the product?
The easy-to-use interface along with the detailed data provided for email security. The product is very mature and covers all aspects of security, triage, and incident response.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest problem is lack of good integration between different proofpoint products (Email Security, TAP, TRAP). The ability to pivot from one product to another while analyzing the same threat would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phishing is the biggest threat to coporations worldwide and Proofpoint offers a smart sophisticated and complete solution to tackle phishing attempts, spam emails, and fraudulent activities.

Great product with excellent scalability and coverage
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent product with multiple modules that have all been integral in performing my job duties as an Incident Response analyst in a fortune 500 company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to block based on keywords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trap and Tap integrations make email security easy, with retroactive quarantines of messages that were scanned and flagged as malicious. Great methodology.
ProofPoint
What do you like best about the product?
ProofPoint does a great job of providing email filtering. I have used ProofPoint for over 5 years. They have integrated solutions to enhance cyber awareness to protect companies from phishing.
What do you dislike about the product?
They need to offer a single pane of management. Currently, if you want to manage security training, it is in a different management interface then managing email protection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Over 65% of all email received is junk mail, phishing attempts or just plain SPAM, ProofPoint provides a tool to filter out the bad email. They also utilize a cyber training platform to provide phishing simulations and cyber training.
Proofpoint, great product and customer service
What do you like best about the product?
overall no complaints. experience has been good and would recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
costs are a bit high but for the service provided its great.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is simple to use, effective and alerts are quick so that we can respond to any issues in our system.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is a little dated that is my biggest complaint, Maybe a better menu system and updated looks.

We used to get a lot of spoofing emails many, phishing attempts and malicious URLs. We had a breech and now have ramped up our security and tuned Proofpoint to help us identify threats
Best Support Ever!
What do you like best about the product?
I think the support organization is probably the best in the world. This should touted more - they are too humble.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not found anything - they are constantly innovating!

Reducing vulnerabilities, and exposure to risk at the enterprise level

The way they integrate TRAP/TAP/Smart Search for security professionals.

Email retentions to be able to investigate past 30 days with those tools.

Internal mail defense and using TRAP to pull malicious emails.
Proofpoint Protection - a critical component in our security stack
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint Email security and protection helps reduce the risk involving the most significant attack vector in today's threat landscape by sandboxing attachments and removing malicious payloads before they ever hit the user's inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
A downside to all the tools and functions that Proofpoint provides is the lack of seamless integration from one tool to the next.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One problem being solved is having a view of how threats are evolving as it relates to malicious attachments, typosquating / malicious domains, and other abuse methods used by threat actors. With Proofpoints tools we are able to adjust to the evolving threat landscape.
Essential Cybersecurity tool to keep your users protected at the front door!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of implementation, very little administration/upkeep required, very effective at stopping phishing threats, very engaged account team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features I would consider essential are only offered for a premium, and overall the product is a little pricey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Block malicious emails and phishing threats to enhance the quality of our Cybersecurity program. Also reduces spam.
Proofpoint Review
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint is able to block unwanted emails at the percentage we would expect. It is a proxy based service so we do no have to grant additional access into our systems which could lead to a security event.
What do you dislike about the product?
The proofpoint GUI needs to be updated and often used items should be much easier to find. The majority of the time I use proofpoint for the same things, but have to dig too far to find and resolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proofpoint blocks the majority of mail that would otherwise hit our systems and ultimately users. The fact that it removes that burden is the most important benefit.
