"Zscaler Private Access: A Secure and Scalable Zero Trust Solution"
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) is how it makes remote access both secure and seamless. Unlike traditional VPNs, ZPA doesn’t expose the network, so users only connect to the apps they’re authorized for, which greatly reduces security risks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, there can be a bit of lag when connecting to certain apps, especially if the network isn’t optimized. Also, the cost can be a little high, which might not be ideal for smaller businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
VPN headaches Replaces clunky, insecure VPNs with faster, direct app access.
Reviewing Zscaler Private
What do you like best about the product?
The zero trust policy and the cloud native architecture of Zscaler is a great option to have. Besides it also allows to use VPN but overcoming Limitations of the tradition VPN by allowing specific application only
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that make Zscaler unappealing is its cost . Also sometimes things are a bit complex to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helpling to handle the secure authentication we required and while also giving us the access to applications via VPN
Zscaler Private Access – Pretty solid, but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the best thing about ZPA is that it just works (most of the time). No need for a clunky VPN, and the security is top-notch with the zero-trust setup. Once it’s configured properly, users can access apps directly without dealing with unnecessary network hurdles. Also, the cloud-native approach means you don’t have to mess with extra hardware, which is a huge plus. The browser-based access for unmanaged devices is a lifesaver too. Overall, it’s a great way to secure remote access without too much hassle—when it’s working right.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting it up can be kinda painful, especially if you’re new to zero-trust concepts. The policy configurations aren’t super intuitive, and troubleshooting is not always straightforward. There’s limited visibility into the backend, which makes fixing issues a bit annoying. Also, sometimes the connection just drops for no obvious reason, and it can take a while to figure out why. Support is okay but not the fastest, so if something breaks, you might be stuck waiting. And if you’re dealing with older applications, good luck—some just don’t work well without a workaround. It’s solid once it’s up and running, but getting there takes some effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ZPA, I don’t have to worry about connecting to a full corporate network—it just gives access to the specific apps I need, which makes things way more secure. It also prevents lateral movement, meaning even if a device is compromised, an attacker can’t easily jump around the network.
connectivity with ZPA is very smooth and secure as compare to other legacy VPN methods.
What do you like best about the product?
secure tunneling that too pretty fast as compare to my previous GPVPN process.
What do you dislike about the product?
while having a change of network or any unstability in network, tunnel goes down and that makes me angry as continuity halts for sometime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZPA is solving the problems of access of entire environment for a single user without any other checking of paramenters as enhancing the legacy VPN security to Zero trust network access that too only one application at a time thing which makes it more secure.
