A great tool to build tools
What do you like best about the product?
Retool makes it super easy to create internal tools, database & API interactions very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, there is nothing I dislike about Retool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Retool as a database query tool. It's super easy to grant access with SSO.

Retool is clutch for any startup trying to build as quickly as possible
What do you like best about the product?
Best part of Retool is how easily anyone (technical or non-technical) can build custom internal tools in a visual dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the onboarding tutorial is great (and I routinely get emails from them about demo sessions) I think they need to revamp some of their examples/templates to convince other nontechnical founders why it's better than paying for pre-built tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Retool to give my new hires the ability to make their own tools to automate a lot of the backoffice/administrative tasks that I did on my own without pulling our designer away from their primary focus.

Nothing in particular. Maybe more visibility into usage.

It is being able to have visibility into customers' usage with our products.
Easy to use, full featured, great support

There are a bunch of resources to get started and the customer support team is very responsive.

It's pricey for early-stage startups, but they do offer a startup package for free.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to do Rest queries in tables with data pulled from various sources. It comes very handily to create operational dashboards
What do you dislike about the product?
Retool is breaking things often when they release. The tool is critical for our operations, and this results in complaints, but their support is very responsive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Retool helps have a very customized back office for both our core product and experiments. The engineering cost of an app is nothing; with a few minutes, we can build a great pull and play tool and share it internally.

The amount of customization and features are great for our needs.

Nothing immediately comes to mind as I'm not the most advanced user.

Response time - this is the best thing that I like about retool. The way it executed any program is commendable.

Refresh time. If you're in hurry then it's your bad luck. It teaches you how to be patient with business tools.

Creating multiple user segments, creating coupons, dashboards, creating collections, and many more. Taking daily business to new heights.

If you're looking for an application developer tool, Retool should be given the first chance.

It wasn't very easy to figure out how to grab text from input fields and pass them to a query.
