Automated updates and the ability to push out scripts, high versatility and time saving, easy to push out/add devices
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes endpoints stop communicating to the tennant properly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users previously had to update their device themselves, this eliminates that need and brings us in line with our acreditations and pen testing
Automox is good
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and to push out end points to users. The dashboard is clean and simple to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the end point will stop talking to the main control panel. You have to force start the service, or uninstall and reinstall it on the end point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keeps out end users machines up to date. We also use it to push out PS scripts
Automox - A tool that should be in every IT team toolkit
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to setup, customer support is resposive and helpful! If you have a blended environment, it is easy to scope policies to your windows and mac machines. The reporting is great and easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the Otto AI should only be used as means to help you, there are times that is has thrown out some really bizzare responses. That will take some time to mature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a blended environment (50/50 mac and windows), and this greatly helps us with patching both OS's. Cuts down on trying to manage 2 different tools.
Automox is a great solution that just works
What do you like best about the product?
Automox is a great solution that works really well across all platforms. I have tested against Tanium and for ease of use, functionallity, performance, and platform support Automox out performed in all areas. Not only did I test the product but the support as well and their support team is very responsive, add the community support that they have you can get most any issue resolved quickly. If you know power shell then you can use Automox to do even more.
Their third party support is very good as well. I was able to install the agent on vendor supplied appliances in a monitor only mode, this allowed me to keep my vendors in compliance when they were found to not updating security patches in a timely manor. For example Automox was able to detect Suricata signature updates and found out that one of the vendors had a configuration issue that stopped the signatures from updating. I was able to catch this and work with the vendor to get this resolved, without the notification from Automox I would have never known that this was not updating.
Emplemetation could not be any easier, just download the agent and push it out using the automation platform of choice. I was able to use PDQ Deploy to push this out to all end points with no issues. Its integration with Crowd Strike end point protection allows you to deploy using their agent to deploy.
I have found that once you get it setup the way you want it with the groups and patching profiles you do not need to log in to the console very often. Just setup your reports and it will tell you when there is an issue. I do logon to the console on a weekly bases just to confirm everything is working.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would like to see improved would be the dashboard, feels a little outdated and needs a refresh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to monitor all applications across Windows, Linux, and Mac systems, local and remote, then push out patches to those that need it and remove software that is against our policies.

Near Perfect Endpoint Management with Automox
What do you like best about the product?
Automox has many features and benefits built into it. One of it's most useful and unexpected features is the use of worklet. These worklets are essentially powershell scripts they release periodically that perform various functions and you create your own. This gives you control to automate anything you can script, directly from within Automox. The platform is very easy to deploy and the portal is clean and easy to Navigate. One of my favorite functions is the ability to ingest CrowdStrike vulnerability reports and then auto-remediate any issues found. Overall Automox has been one of our best tools and their team is always very welcoming to feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real area that needs improving is the dashboard. Overall the information is nice and clean, I just need to capability to customize my dashboard. Not everyone needs to see the same data, depending on their environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automox makes automating patch management on your endpoints a seamless, painless experience. Once fully deployed, it really is hands off and gives us several hours back every week, considering we are a relatively small IT department, this has an enormous impact. Remediation is also helping to enhance our security posture. The overall great thing about Automox is how hands off it is once is it deployed into your environment.
A must have tool for your IT department
