Cost visibility has improved and ongoing usage reveals several areas that still need refinement
What is our primary use case?
I have been testing Vantage Cloud Cost Platform for the last month for my own product and to use it in cost optimization.

I am currently using Vantage Cloud Cost Platform, and it is really positive, but I am hoping to get this feature in the future.
I was able to reduce my costs by approximately 50% and understand where the costing is since I started using Vantage Cloud Cost Platform. For instance, there was a hidden cost.
Integrating with Vantage Cloud Cost Platform helped me, as after integration, I was able to see where the cost was within 24 hours and reduce up to 60% of the costing.
What is most valuable?
The quick sign-up and the easy integration with Vantage Cloud Cost Platform is one of the best features, as I just need to set up a role.
Vantage Cloud Cost Platform has read-only permission and provides creation of a single role in my account, which is one of the edge cases.
What needs improvement?
One thing about Vantage Cloud Cost Platform is that some of the data they need to report includes custom routes.
Vantage Cloud Cost Platform should also provide integration for monitoring the data.
A more generic API would be needed and lower cost with Vantage Cloud Cost Platform, as right now it is costing me a few dollars a day without any usage. If the hit to the APIs can be reduced and you get a small amount, that should be sufficient.
There are many improvements that need to be made, and that is why I gave a rating of six and not ten, as it is a long path for the business.

In terms of money, it offers consolidated billing and ensures that what we are exactly spending is included, so it helps to save money. However, since I have not been able to use it for long, I cannot share the exact number or percentage.

Vantage Cloud Cost Platform is a good tool, but it can be improved with features. It is a standard tool that every other market has, and the cool features and implementation are good, along with good integration within Terraform and CLI.

Vantage is excellent for monitoring cloud costs and spotting opportunities to save. It gives clear visibility into spending and helps optimise budgets effectively. Thanks to Vantage, I identified a cost-saving of $400,000 USD on a new project, which was a huge win for our team.

Intuitive Interface and Easy Cloud Integration Drive Cost Awareness
What do you like best about the product?
I like Vantage's intuitive interface. Being so intuitive meant that it didn't take long to get up-and-running, and to give me the ability to identify areas where I can help my team reduce costs. It also seems pretty easy to use Terraform to connect Vantage up to the various Cloud providers, which also adds to its ease-of-use and its usefulness. So, ultimately, Vantage makes it easy to build a culture of accountability and cost-awareness across the technical teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm probably a little too new to using Vantage to have found many things about it that I dislike. There does seem to be quite a bit of difference in how full-featured some integrations are compared with others, but I guess that is unavoidable, and the most important integrations seem to be well-supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we introduce a new service, we can quickly see what its cost impact will be, and redesign its implementation (if needed) before it gets to production.
Effortless Cloud Cost Visibility and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Vantage offers a remarkably clear and intuitive way to view cloud spending across different providers. Dealing with instance costs can be a real pain, and recently, when I was looking into Tranium pricing, I noticed that AWS seemed to hide it after their deal. However, Vantage still displayed that information. I really appreciate how useful this tool is for cost analytics and for digging deep into where money is being spent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customization options for dashboards could use some improvement. For instance, it would be helpful to have the ability to set custom time ranges and to group metrics together for more advanced reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vantage has given our team complete visibility into our cloud infrastructure costs across both AWS and GCP. Previously, tracking expenses across various accounts and services was disjointed and took up a lot of time. Now, with Vantage, we can effortlessly monitor our budgets, catch any unexpected cost spikes, and optimize our spending in real time. Honestly, I don't think I could have managed billing on my own, but after a friend introduced me to Vantage, it turned out to be the perfect solution for alerts and everything else I needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Having one pane of glass 'view' of all Cloud providers is very helpful, however, the main benefit is being able to create individual cost views, whether by account, service or by an application that is hard to replicate within a cloud portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to extract widgets from Vantage, for example, how many EC2 instances I have used or how much storage have I consumed (or allocated)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vantage is helping me to combine 100 plus cloud accounts into one single view which I'm then able to dissect and report on.
In addition, Vantage is great for monitoring cloud software usage / costs without accessing the vendors portal.
Vantage’s Unified Cost Board Makes Analysis Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
We started using Vantage recently and had a great experience so far. The single consolidated board that aggregates costs across multiple infrastructure platforms (cloud and data platforms) using tags is extremely useful. It allows for detailed cost analysis and helps in deep diving into spend patterns effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if Vantage could fetch more granular details wherever possible — such as job names, job IDs, or similar metadata. This would help users gain a deeper understanding and more transparency in cost attribution.

It provides a single, unified view of our overall spend, making it much easier to track, analyze, and optimize costs. Vantage makes it incredibly easy to see exactly how much each service costs with clear, granular breakdowns. No more drowning in spreadsheets, we can instantly identify which services are driving our spend. The real value is in spotting outlier moments: cost spikes, misconfigured resources running 24/7, and forgotten test environments racking up charges. It's helped us catch several budget-busting issues before they became major problems, giving us much better control over our cloud costs. With alerts for spikes and also weekly short checkups you are solving your cost problem. It's really easy to integrate with AWS and Open AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
The D-1 updates on some services can be frustrating. When cost data is delayed by a day or more for certain services, it makes real-time monitoring and quick decision-making harder. We'd also appreciate more proactive alerting and suggested remediation steps when outliers are detected. It could be
