Beneficial especially for our wind farm activities
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to process large amounts of sensor data that comes from our wind farm network immediately with the help of Kinetica. This helps us detect trends and potential problems much sooner; thus, it increases personnel efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kinetica’s pricing is linked to the data size and for the large number of sensors we have, it can be costly. It places constant pressure on us to determine if the situation is worth the risk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kinetica solves the problem of processing big data received in real-time and containing spatial and temporal data. In this way, we can generate energy for the quickest amount of time and avoid wasting money on equipment malfunctions.
