forget the hassle with managing content!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy is to change the content using contentful. If you know how to use lego bricks, you will be able to build content!
What do you dislike about the product?
its not contenful fault at all, but the page sometimes is cached, and i struggle a few times with making changes as i couldn't see them live on site.

Easy to use for a large organization
What do you like best about the product?
Once you have used it for modeling your website, you can start teaching all the content creators in your organization how to use it. It is easy to be used by non-technical roles to change the content quickly and easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you change something (an image, a text, a title), you have to apply it to see how it will look on your website. A preview space will be better, so you don´t have to go live with changes without knowing how they will look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Contentful, you can have several content creators changing content (images, videos, texts, titles) easily and quickly. And they can be working simultaneously on several landing pages without needing a developer´s help
Great CMS with things to improve on Information eXperience
What do you like best about the product?
UI is intuitive and easy to use.
My view is a great addition.
Publish history and Versions are superb.
The editor is good.
Information architecture is cool so as content models.

What do you dislike about the product?
Reusable components and their related functions suck.
No way to conditionalize text for different versions.
Single sourcing (write once, publish anywhere) is not so great.
UI is a little laggy at times.
Image editing needs improvement.

Contentful — Great Support From Their Team
What do you like best about the product?
The training that the Contentful team holds
What do you dislike about the product?
Contentful at first glance can be a bit much, there's a lot going on, but as you get walked through the product it makes more sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Contentful as a way to measure the efficacy of content with users.

- Sandbox Enviroments
- Clean REST and GraphQL API
- SDK in all major programming languages
- Content versioning
- Asset CDN with on the fly transformations
- Webhook support

What do you dislike about the product?
In the CMS space, there are no perfect bullets but I wouldn't encorage non-technical organizations to use Contentful.
- The content authoring UX can be painful for non-technical users
- The CMS does not seem suited to handle general purpose marketing websites
- Exceeding plan limits can be very expensive
- No public roadmap for upcoming features
- Internal culture of "build it yourself" (especially regarding UX fuctionality requests)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing websites. Our sites are fast and very secure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Contentful provides an excellent service offering, but remember:
- This is a headless CMS; implementation details are your responsibility.
- Have you seriously trialed the product and drafted a comprehensive implementation plan?
- Are you able to hire expierenced developers who can maintain this system?

Useful but a bit complicated for those who have no idea how to set up a communication
What do you like best about the product?
The design is excellent, and the interface is user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nowadays, everything is automated, so have to program every single dynamic detail manually it's not helpfull.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Templates for automated communications.
Good solution and good UI.
What do you like best about the product?
How much information there is, and how flexible the whole product it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular to mention. The tool is great and does what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We reduced to cost to new features, by using a much simpler approach. We also are able to give production users much more options in how they structure the content.
A well thought out app
What do you like best about the product?
Great developer support. Tools are always up to date to keep up on new updates from frameworks and libs.
The Rich text editor is one of my favourite features from customising the content to referencing other Components. I dont think any other CMS does that.
Creating your own plugins is another great way of building a more bespoke feature for your needs in the dashboard.
The new Compose tool is well designed when it comes to creating new content.

What do you dislike about the product?
Content-type cap restriction could be improved. 48 is pretty low for even paid members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To make life easier for content editors when it comes to managing the content on the go. A way to instantly preview their changes then publish with a click of a button.
Very User-friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like best that Contentful is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it is sometimes has bugs; for example, copying a page sometimes doesn't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am updating different landing pages
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try Contentful – it is very easy to use and understand.
CMS for Jamstack
What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic developer experience and easy to use interface for content editors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing model. Limiting the number of content models has at times made developer decisions difficult. It's a trade-off between a model that makes sense vs. a model that fits the budget. Adding more models is exponentially expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple different brands under a single umbrella company. Each brand shares a single Gatsby site codebase backed by Contentful. Using Contentful allows us to share content between brands and platforms easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Plan your Content model early.
