Contentful CMS review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the bulk edit tool. When doing major migrations it made things faster and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you migrate from one system into Contentful there were duplicate slugs that had to be fixed manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We move our content from an inadequate ad hoc system to a system we could easily use interdepartmentally in the company. Increasing productivity since we launched.

It helps to solve the content management in the code with the support of localization—faster load of the preview. Connection extension app via App framework is an additional advantage
What do you dislike about the product?
Asset management, Not upgradable rich text editor. Slower build time with gatsby
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps business people to effectively solve the content updates without the use of the developer to touch the code.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good Headless CMS. But make sure you have used gatsby with correct best practices; otherwise, the build will take a lot of time to compile.

Some standard solutions/plugins are already implemented, and you can focus on the frontend part.

It is incredibly flexible and front-end developer-friendly. We don't have any backend guy on our team.

It's fairly straightforward to set up, arrange, and deploy templatized content pieces on your website or in-product

It's not super intuitive to find the content you're looking for, you have to filter.

Deploying templatized content on our website and in product. This process can be fast and streamlined.

Simple to build easy setup and connecting to the app. Solid documentation that is relevant

When it goes down it goes down. Tough to work around when contentful has issues.

That it is so easy to use. It didnt take me long to pick it up and understand how to create new saved responses or edit others.

If I want to find saved responses which include something specific so that I can edit them all this is almost impossible to do which can be time consuming

i am a findiff analyst so i edit and create new saved responses for our cops to use. this has helped update guidance, improve QA scores and help our customers get all the information they need.
