The client services group is great to work with! I would recommend asking for product demonstrations early on in the process.

The people... our CSM and global services person care and work with us to get the system to meet our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Service who answer cases. Not in same time zone and they close cases before really finding out if answer worked.

We use ZQuotes for sales team to select rate plans and then billing to invoice our clients. We standardized our quoting and billing, but need to upgrade to get newer benefits.

We are on a older version which is why we have issues

My favorite part of the platform are its tutorials. The tutorials and the technical support is very helpful.

the documentation is very hard to understand and flawed. It can be improved by constant revisions.

Great tool for simplifying your billing / invoicing needs
What do you like best about the product?
Zuora makes billing and invoicing simple - especially for sales-assisted businesses. It helps to create a unified flow around all products and services that you may be selling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementing Zuora is not a plug-n-play experience. Having a technical team in place is a must to get this right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to simplify our billing and invoicing experience and ensure we had a unified flow across our products. We were able to create a single flow for all of our products and renewals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zuora is a powerful platform - you need to make sure you define your business processes ahead of time; otherwise, the implementation may not be easy or effective to solve your business challenges. You also need to be comfortable with changing your internal business processes to make the overall solution more effective (technology + process).

API Integrations. Low touch system that doesn't need to be managed by developers. Easy to use product catalog

More complex subscription scenarios require customized code

The biggest benefit so far is the time to close accounting periods has drastically decreased

Zuora is flexible and extensive and often times has a solution in place or a solution engineer can quickly offer a solution to help scale or stabilize the business
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Zuora interface can be cludgy or confusing - especially when there are very complex deals being entered into the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in the process of migrating all of our products from one subscription platform to Zuora. Our consumer products, since they are simple and straight-forward, are i nthe process of being completed. We will continue to move our mid-market applications and services into Zuora by Q4 2019.
