Beyondtrust Remote Support Review
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is simplified and easy for use for Service Desk. Along with remote support there are many functionalities available like canned scripts,snapshot etc. The upside of the solution is that it offers very great UI/UX for support teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Considering my day to day uses of this tool, i found that the jump clients do not come back as Active[ON] once it goes in Lost state. Redeployment of the jump client is only possible solution to change status as Active[ON]. Moreover, it is not very convenient solution to use for virtual devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Beyondtrust Remote Support makes it very easy to remote into any system and provide support to customer facing any desktop related issue. Benefit of this solution is that Service Desk and Local IT team can assist customers remotely.

BeyondTrust Remote Support - Must have tool for any IT Department help desk
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Remote sessions via direct icon click (jump client) or by initiating remote support session by e-mail invitation, access link or session key. Ability to see multiple monitors and gain full control to troubleshoot user's problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike about this product. We are using it as a standalone appliance. Updates need to be performed manually. Sometimes still have problems with having elevated user control (which sometimes does not work properly)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using BT Remote Support we had limited ability to colaboration during support sessions. Remote support allowed us to now jointly invite support team members to work jointly on the problem. Ability to share sessions, have chats and work remotely not utilizing a VPN was a great benefit. This is an excellent tool for any IT Department
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend this product. It is easy to use and deploy. Works very fast with the latest patch.

What do you like best about the product?
Screenrecording is so great to help troubleshooter level 1. They can easily send link of the video to other support level.
What do you dislike about the product?
use of beyond trust integration client is not "easy" to retrieve data and video. One interface is required (to be developped) to find quickly data, video, users..

all incidents open by customers !
Remote Access Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is web based, Easy to navigate and redirect clients to. Could upload files and installation files on it. Can do screen share. End user have ability to disconnect sessions over. Awesome Remote Reboot works and automatically do screenshare once connected over VPN. You could see login page of the remote pc once session is connected. Chat window box works awesome specially if clients needs to use pc, go on meeting while you do remote access without disconnecting you and can communicate via chat if AVAYA / Phone line is disconnected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automatically creates tickets for non web support. Annoying buzz sounds chat over the users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None for issues to resolved. Easy to navigate. No time out for the helpdesk.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
make sure to accepts session or connect to the right persons ticket cause the web portal chat is also on queu whic.h generates an open ticket under you bucket
Beyond trust is one of the Best Remote Support Software
What do you like best about the product?
I'm using the BeyondTrust Software and it is easy to connect to the Client's computer with a link or session key. I mostly like the elevation access in beyond trust. Best part is easy to transfer the session or invite someone in the current session.
What do you dislike about the product?
After rebooting the computer It does not always reconnect properly, sometimes it went to offline and never comes back online I have to create a new session

What do you like best about the product?
Superfast remote support tool. Easy to navigate and connect to devices quickly. Handy tools for quick actions and file transfers. Excellent organization and inventory management. The web console is super convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup is not very intuitive. It can be challenging to find the exact options that work for a specific environment. App deployment can be tricky with the installer deleting after installation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can assist users remotely with tight SLAs and utilize various tools to resolve issues quickly. Can connect from anywhere using the web console for quick access.
Efficient Remote access and support tool
What do you like best about the product?
The feature I like the best from BeyondTrust Remote support(formely Bomgar) is the screen sharing with taking control of the screen to support customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The executable needs to install whenever the customers need remote support, as when the session ends, the installed Bomgar is uninstalled. I do not know if there is any custom feature to avoid the uninstallation of the tool after the remote support session is complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many applications in use by our customers for which they need support on how to use. This support requires remote access to see what the customer need is. We establish a remote access session with the customers using the Bomgar tool where we can see their screen and assist precisely to the customer's requirement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
An efficient tool that we can rely on remote access and support requirements. This tool helps to address customer needs precisely by utilizing remote access looking into their screen to solve the customer's need.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about BeyondTrust Remote Support is that IT staff can communicate with employees about the status of their requests and any questions they have. This open line of communication and real-time delivery of notifications helps ease frustration caused by IT issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about BeyondTrust Remote Support is that the interface doesn't allow you to see IT, representatives that are online and available to help. It would be especially helpful to know if the representative who has been assigned to your issue/ticket is online to help trouble shoot in live time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a non-IT employee at my remote-based organization, BeyondTrust Remote Support allows me to access organization IT experts easily that can solve any issues that arise. The software enables IT issues to be resolved almost solely remotely, easing the travel or mailing burden and cost on the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
BeyondTrust Remote Support is an easy to use platform to resolve IT issues with efficiency. You do have to have a good IT staff in place, but this platform will enhance their impact.
