An amazing implementation team

  • March 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Overall Northpass is a great LMS. Our team of Patrycja and Hubert were incredible to work with and helped us implement our company academy. This tool and team have been great to train our users to be more productive and achieve their business goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say there are many downsides, but the team can continue to build out their assignment product capabilities and options for native interactivity within the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Northpass is helping us scale our training efforts for end users and customers as they set up and onboard to our application. We're also using Northpass for evergreen training to make more customers even more successful.

Northpass will allow us to grow

  • March 15, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite things about Northpass is that we are not limited in our growth. Other platforms are priced by learner, and Northpass realizes that the ability to train a larger number of people is key to successfully training software solutions.
The interface is easy to navigate and fairly intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way for reviewers to leave comments on an activity without modifying the activity itself. Without it, designers are left to search for what area requires modification. If there was a way to attach a "notebook" to each activity, that would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were finding it incredibly time-consuming to train customers live. In addition, any staff members brought in after training happened were left to watch a recording. This will allow us to educate not only customers today but also customers in the future. Additionally, we can make content change as our software evolves.

Great implementation that got us to a successful launch

  • March 10, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We had a very professional and knowledgeable team help us set up. We worked with Patrycja (implementation manager) and Hubert (web developer) to bring our vision to life, and they really pulled through for us in a tight timeline, while having the most encouraging and positive attitude. Everything is very customizable in how you want your LMS to look, especially if you can provide the designs and assets. We have just completed implementation and will be moving forward with our CSM, Tracy, who also has been very responsive and great to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more interactive content options as some other LMSes do; such as matching, clicking the correct answer on a screenshot, etc. Analytics aren't very user-friendly and intuitive — there are many different reports you have to click into and it's unclear what each report is meant to show you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After expending the resources to acquire customers, we then need to provide scalable and self-paced education to help our them be successful on our tool, which Northpass is allowing us to do.

Completely customized to our needs

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Northpass has at all times tried to rebuild the LMS exactly according to our ideas and requirements. In doing so, they worked on tricky solutions and provided them to us. They were always open to new ideas and detours to realize our wishes as best they could.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only problem was the structure for processing the changes we wanted. Relatively quickly, however, we then drew up a project plan including responsibilities and priorities. This made things run much easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us train our users and show them in a structured way how to prepare themselves

Solid Customer-Facing LMS

  • March 01, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
A huge factor in a customer-facing LMS is its professional services - Northpass's team is fantastic. They're quick to respond and incredibly helpful.
Regarding the platform, NP has great integrations and Workato for everything else.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics could use some improvement; it would be nice to be able to pipe data out of NP a little easier. Also, I've noticed discrepancies in some of their reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's reducing the friction of onboarding new customers by automating/providing self-service training. We're also using it for internal training and considering the possibility of prospect-facing content as well.

An educator's dream software

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive & easy to use for our end-users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Platform customization can sometimes feel limiting, especially from the design angle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar helps us deliver fundamental content to our users during their onboarding process, which we're now able to do at scale, saving our team many many hours on customer training.

TPT & Clever's Customer Education Platform of Choice -- For Educators!

  • February 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Skilljar was the way you could create modules from a number of different types of content: video, PDF, interactive quizzes, etc. I also loved the help and support you get from your AM when standing up your site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the biggest areas of improvement are streamlining the UI /UX so it's more intuitive and adding more analytics and data to track the effectiveness of the courses. Having more beautiful "out of the box" design templates could also be useful for those teams that don't have in-house design support or can't afford to get design consultants/contractors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Clever’s history, customer training had always been decentralized–leaving it up to school districts, application partners, or our Customer Success reps to do the heavy lifting. Most of the time, training was expensive and varied widely.

Without a scalable way to train customers on our product, many great features went unnoticed and unused, leading to less value. A lack of user education also often manifested itself in increased help desk tickets and frustrated users. In a recent report from Education Week, teachers cited that fewer than 50% of them receive training on how to implement edtech in the classroom.

Skilljar is a quality customer education LMS!

  • February 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Skilljar is committed to quality in everything they do. The Skilljar product is well-built and constantly improving. They take me seriously if they don't have a feature I need. I have seen one of my needed features be vetted, explored, and produced within in a matter of months from my request. I recognize that they can't do this for every need. Still, I bring this experience up to illustrate how much they value their customers by providing a highly functional, high quality product. Not to mention, their customer success and customer support agents are phenomenal to work with
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of opportunities to learn about Skilljar product and I have to have a different login for each of them. It can be very confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learners are all unique, which makes building a customer education platform difficult. How do you reach every learner in the ways they need to learn? Skilljar provides a large variety of ways to provide eLearning experiences to our unique customers.

Easy to use interface

  • February 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has an easy-to-use and understand administrator dashboard and interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics and reporting could be improved. It would be helpful if you had the ability to create custom reports that can be sent automatically. Skilljar does not have this yet, but they are working on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides the ability to offer self-serve training at scale. It integrates with Credly, Stripe, ChurnZero, Salesforce and provides SSO integration. It has the ability to provide certification programs and digital badging so users can share their accomplishments on social media. Skilljar offers a very robust implementation program that got us up and running quickly (3-4 months).

Sophisticated LMS with a variety of tools to provide effective training resources.

  • February 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to customize our training resources for our employees. Having a Northpass connection like Norm has made it easy to understand how the system itself works.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are quite a few nuances to utilizing this system, in addition to its integrations with BambooHR, as well as OpenSesame. There could be clearer ways to use these integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Establishing training courses that carry over data into our HRIS system has streamlined the way that we record data for training, learning, and development purposes.
