Excellent software for server administration
What do you like best about the product?
Cpanel is an excellent tool for the management of any hosting, security is incredibly good, and they always have many updates. I always recommend it for the company and for our customers. It has also helped us save a lot of time in managing emails and files on the servers. I love the graphical interface, I think it is incredibly good, very friendly and with the possibility of moving objects in the most convenient way. It does not require that system administrators are constantly connected checking the server, Cpanel takes care of this task. And finally, it has the Cron automated works, which is an excellent way to automate processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software tends to be a bit heavy, but it's worth it for the great features it offers. Sometimes it is complicated to manage multiple domains with a master account, it can be a bit complicated. Although with WHM it is much easier, and WHM also belongs to the Cpanel platform. This WHM has worked for me to easily manage domains, DNS, NameServers among other features of the servers. Some security functions are complex and complicated to configure, although they have excellent support and community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The mail manager seems incredibly good, it's easy and simple to use, besides being able to add email signatures to every email that is sent. cPanel is the best software that exists for the administration of web hosting, be it an account or a hostings reseller account. The integration of softaculous is incredibly good, that makes us very satisfied in the company
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this platform because it has many positive aspects with respect to the competition as Plesk. Also, I also love being able to change the php versions with which you can work on the server. In turn cPanel provides the user interfaces to manage a more familiar website in the world. It is very important to say that they also update the platform on a regular basis to guarantee the security of the system. I have used cPanel for years and I can say that I have never been disappointed. Finally, it is important to say that this platform has a connection with softaculous, with which you can easily obtain a professional website in a short time
Wasy and safe to manage your web hosting
What do you like best about the product?
that bring many features and tools to squeeze it to the maximum benefit. From the panel I can manage my domains, create emails for work colleagues, and even integrate for an e-commerce. managing files on the website becomes an easy task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not consider myself as a development expert so some functions are not clear and can make it difficult for some users to understand them and not get the most out of it.
Another thing that I do not like is that when the mail of a domain was configured the messages do not arrive, it seems to me a rather annoying failure.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduce process and make it easier to manage a website in your company. I use it to create corporate emails, manage website pages and database. I believe that cPanel has improved the security of the site and has simplified the work.
Managing your Server easily
What do you like best about the product?
I love how c-panel can making managing your server very easy! They include everything from SSH access to managing a wordpress website without having to know about code.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the pricing on Cpanel, while it is reliable for a shared server, it is not reliable for dedicated server. At that point you should look for a VPS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With cpanel we are able to freely manage our server from making emails to uploading files without using an ftp application.

If you’re looking for an easy way to manage your sever, cpanel is a great way to go!
WHM is a great hosting mgmt tool
What do you like best about the product?
You can manage unlimited accounts and even offer reseller accounts. You can set-up whatever packages you like and select options per package including storage space, bandwidth, parked domains, databases and much more. You can also suspend an account with a single click. There is even a place to edit packages, upgrade or downgrade accounts and much more. There are many sections with many options in each section, so I recommend using the search bar at the top of the left column. Example, Search 'SSL' and every option that controls elements of SSL will show below.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot to it and takes quite a bit of time to learn everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security issues and SSL can be managed for all your hosting accounts from one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't get overwhelmed. Take it slow and learn a couple options in a section and sleep on it. If you learn too much at once, things will overlap in your memory and you will make mistakes.
Server management made easy
What do you like best about the product?
cPanel help me out every time i want to host a website either for my own self or for a client its interface makes it more easily accessible and provides ease of use. The features are lovable and the recent update from cpanel providing free SSL certificates for every website/domain hosting on cPanel makes it more lovable. The statistics and the email integration is also awesome but i do feel like we need more cause i know i ma greedy when comes to features but so far cpanel is awesome in every aspect of mine without relying on a bunch of other 3rd party software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally don't dislike any specific part of it but i do dislike its pricing a little bit cause i have to pay extra for cloudlinux on top of cPanel although i do have my own servers making them somewhat cheaper would be a nice hit for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly server and website management and ease of access every time i want to update a tiny part i don't have to use command line terminal instead i can just login to cpanel and do the required job without any hassle and headache.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
By far the distance cpanel is in the lead for production based hosting providers but you have to be quick to adapt the new feature they introduce with every update to make your host a lovable host out of the box.

Setting up hosting environments is now easy and I can train my clients to maintain their own websites.
cPanel is Robust and Feature Rich
What do you like best about the product?
cPanel is the goto software to manage web hosting, be it individual account or reseller account. i perticularly like the email features it has to offer - it is quite good even for some complex stuff like auto moving emails to a folder, etc. on individual email level or on account level. integration with softaculous gives simple one click access to install amazing apps like wordpress and rainloop - which we have been using quite extensively :)
What do you dislike about the product?
granular controls are missing. especially on each individual user level. if a user needs to set a vacation responder on email, they cannot do it via the webapp, it can only be done via the admin account. also, the file manager is underwhelming for a tool that is so old and so widely used! it works, but the UX is just not 2019!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
setting up and managing emails are a breeze. managing website hosting, be it direct or via wordpress, is quite good and since you have full access to all the files, handling things is quite easy (and obviously risky for the uninitiated!)

What do you dislike about the product?
WHM isn't the greatest solution for medium or larger web hosting companies unless you also integrate a third party system like WHMCS. Smaller hosting or web design companies should also integrate
third party backup solutions , because the backup functionality of cPanel accounts is not as modern in terms of "ease of use" as one might think. Otherwise, you have to go through each cPanel account,individually, and then download the backup or ftp it to a server.

WHM (Web Host Manager) is very good software, an ideal solution for small web development companies who might also want to start making an additional revenue source by selling hosting. The platform is easy to learn, find features in it's documentation, and navigate
through the well-organized administrative panel. Creating a new web hosting account for a new customer can be achieved in a matter of just minutes.

Install a third party backup solution so you don't have to backup your cPanel accounts one by one. Allow multiple domains on new accounts by default.

What do you like best about the product?
very easy management of the environment for your web domain, has many work tools including mysql, postgresql, phpmyadmin among many monitoring tools, uploading files, among them we can see the easy creation of web sub-domains, create email accounts , redirect link among many other things that the cpanel can offer, I think it is a very useful tool and 100% effective both for the simple administration for beginners and for an advanced expert, highly recommended.

What I do not like very much about this license is that it is heavy in terms of hardwre resources but everything has a benefit which is that the tool to be heavy meets all the described requirements which characterize it as one of The best website managers in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit I have obtained with cpanel is that I can manage in terms of working time and problem solving, that is, I have created several tools on my website which my clients can access and simply by making a request can solve in an expected manner the inconvenience which the client has. very practical really.

Easiest Server Control Panel Ever
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is very intuitive and laid out very cleanly and with the ability to search available functions makes it quick to get where you need to go and quickly make changes to various services running on your server. In addition, it's incredibly easy to manage sites, users, DNS and emails using the available tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some areas that overlap and you'll find similar settings in a few different places which can get confusing for someone just starting out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple servers and I needed a solution so that others in my office, who are not as tech savy and Linux/Unix knowledgeable, would be able to setup and manage aspects of client accounts. This made it easy for our sales staff and support staff to access logs, add domains, and make simple DNS changes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely figure out how many sites you plan on hosting and determine things like the server hostname and DNS urls before install. Changing hostname can cause some additional work later, but is doable. Once it's setup, you may need to update various service configuration as they may get set to default values. Once that is done, decide if you want the system to automatically update or would rather control that yourself. If you do decide for automatic updates, make sure you utilize the system backup functions to automatically create backups in case it updates and throws an error at you after.
Security wise you may want to consider how much of a target you are and couple some of the built in security features with a hardware firewall as well.
