What do you like best about the product?
allows you to easily adapt to the needs by offering fast and efficient solutions in the development of applications
What do you dislike about the product?
There are elements that require improvement, however it is remarkable the constant updating of the platform that are constantly improving and evolving
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was working lately in the development of applications for communication systems for cancellation, suspension and reactivation of services. It was very easy to connect to the company's system and create an application that would allow us to do this process in an optimal and efficient way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this platform as easy and functional as it is its implementation in addition to full access to documentation at any time, it allows to solve problems a wide range of conflicts in a simpler and faster way.

Connect the company with anywhere

  • February 28, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Anypoint studio is a fantastic cloud environment to could use anywhere to connect with any service across the Internet.
The possibility to create VPC and private end-points help to maintain the legacy environments of the company running but with a layer of services to expose or consume information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the price list for the components in special of the sandbox environment. I think that these prices will be cheaper and to avoid the wrong use by the customer, MuleSoft could limit the bandwidth of these environments.
Another alternative could create "packs" with a defined number of vCores for production and sandbox with special prices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Anypoint as our API Gateway to connect our cloud services between these and our internal systems. Also, we are using the solution to create a service layer for our legacy systems.
The benefits are simple, unify service layer, more manageable services and more effective to deploy that the bespoke solutions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For us, the connection with the internal (not cloud) systems, is been with the VPC setting and has a limited number of these. It difficult the internal network setting and the connection between the service layer, the systems and with our third parties.

What do you like best about the product?
Mule allows developers to quickly stand up APIs & ETLs with minimal code & lots of flexiblity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Mule & Java backend don't play nice which produces surprising results that can make it difficult to pinpoint the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Mule for API management & to build Integrations between Apps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mule is easy to try out & their training & documentation resources are good!

This mule needs to be tamed

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to build APIs using MuleSoft. You can build a REST API endpoint with its HTTP listener connector in minutes. With MuleSoft, we can expose our database stored procedures with REST APIs without any coding.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a steep learning curve if you are not a Java developer and API developer. We are using Mule4 and the available online resources is almost nothing. If you are not guided by an experienced Mule developer, you will have a tough time getting yourself up productive in MuleSoft. Even I got a week of MuleSoft developer training, I struggled for almost a month to get used to the Mule way of development. Most of the materials you found online are tailored to Mule 3.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is our enterprise integrations platform. We use MuleSoft to enable to communications among key enterprise applications. We also adopt the API-network concept when building up the integrations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a good implementation partner if you don't have a strong Mule team. It is not an easy journey.

Clean and Classic Platform

  • February 28, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Mulesoft Platform because of its simplicity and its easy to use. It provides complete solution to deploy, manage and monitor an application. I can use Runtime Manager to deploy my application and I can use it to monitor as well by accessing logs and dashboard for resource utilization. I can use Api Manager to easily deploy Apis and then manage it by applying out of box policies like security schemes, Rate Limiting or Throtteling and dont forget the proxy and reverse proxy!. Apart from this I also use Exchange to publish all our applications for business users. Best part is Exchange is so interactive that business users can actually use the Apis and check it themselves to understand what to expect from an interface/Api.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the design centre. Its good for Raml designing but its not that useful for building interfaces. Anypoint Studio is the best for it. Apart from this I want Mulesoft to give us more accessibilty and control over the instances where we are deploying applications. I know aws ECS and EC2 services are being used in the backgroud so its good to provide us this access so we can ssh into instance because we often face issues in runtime manager and we have to raise tickets to Mulesoft to resolve them which we can easily resolve if we get instance access. Lastly I think platform should have feature to forward cloudhub logs to other logging tools like splunk, aws s3,sqs or kinesis for log backup and management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have made our ecomm brands on Mulesoft. It helped our brands to grow online and users have better and faster experience now. We have also moved our POS services to Mulesoft for better customer management and transactions management

Mulesoft Anypoint Platform Review

  • February 28, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform not only provides a mechanism to design and implement the APIs but also provide end to end API management capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The solution is expensive and also since the approach is more to build a network of API led connectivity, it requires multi-year visibility. Generally, that is an issue with small or medium enterprises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a Mulesoft partner company and we are helping customers realize the full potential of the Anypoint platform.

Robust Integration Platform

  • February 28, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
MuleSoft's integration platform can handle the most complex integration use cases and enables an enterprise to set a solid foundation for a reuseable and service driven architecture. Mulesoft has a wide variety of out-of-the-box connectors for use in connecting the systems. They also provide excellent hands-on training.
What do you dislike about the product?
MuleSoft has a learning curve to become proficient, so get ready to roll-up your sleeves as part of the implementation journey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Mulesoft to integrate data between Salesforce and many other systems on a variety of different platforms.
