One of the best ESBs in the market

Easy to setup and use. Anypoint Studio interface is intuitive and easy to work with. Dataweave is format agnostic language used for transformation. API manager provides policies to cover most important API Management use cases. It is very lightweight and doesnt need database to work.

Importance of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The Mulesoft Anypoint platform is mainly helpful for designing and managing APIs, while implementation is done in any point studio. Anypoint platform is a single place to do everything from building API spec, integration and connecting integration with API spec in the form of API implementation. Cloud integration is also done quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mulesoft Anypoint Platform needs to improve its deployment strategy. Currently, it doesn't offer the deployment rollback to the previous version. Access management should be simplified. In RAML, the query params type number will also take it as a string type.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Any point platform, we have a design center, exchange, data graph and management center. We will use the design center to design the RAML exchange for creating an instance id for API and a management center for deploying and applying policies to an API. The API management stuff, securing and deploying an API(web service) via client id and client secret.
Very Reliable Integration Cloud Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Mulesoft Anypoint plaform allows us to design and deploy the mulseoft based api's which is used to integrate the data between two parties. With the help of this, we can easily deploy our mulesoft based Api's into the server.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anypoint Platform API's does not have the auto-scaling feature. As when the API needs more Vcores or workers, we need to manually give the extra Vcores, which is a manual task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mulesoft Anypoint Platform provides the cloud service, which is used to deploy the API's which integate the two different systems. It solves the problem of communicating the two different systems with each other
Best integration platform for developing APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Mulessoft Anyoint Platform is an integration platform for SOA, SAAS and APIs. It is used across many companies for services by building application networks or apps and both on-premises and in the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mulesoft is unable to fetch the metadata database, which complicates mapping. Mulesoft documentation for reference is sometimes incomplete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mulesoft Anypoint platform provides various functionalities like the Design centre, which is used to design RAML for building APIs, API Manager and runtime manager for deploying the developed APIs on-premise or on the cloud based on requirements.
Best Integration tool MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
What do you like best about the product?
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform of integration products is designed to tie both software as service(SaaS) and on-premises software. MuleSoft works on AnyPoint Connectivity Model, which helps connect any existing SaaS-based applications or set of APIs through a single API interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't fetch metadata from the database when there is a mapping. MuleSoft documentation is in the developing stage and won't be sufficient to complete the progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform is a collection of Tools and Frameworks with a runtime application. Many deployment options are available: Cloud hub, On-premise, Runtime Fabric, Anypoint PCE, and Anypoint PCF.
Great integration platform, now with Salesforce pricing strategies
What do you like best about the product?
From the integration architecture perspective, MuleSoft Anypoint represents clearly what you could expect from an ESB with the right platform capabilities to create APIs stacks the "right way" by following best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first downside is the obvious commercial fact: MuleSoft is now owned by Salesforce. And by the side effect of being part of that group, the licensing costs and contract renewal mechanics have turned in the direction of how Mule's parent company does business. In other words, expect to pay a premium price for an ESB that, if you think deeply about it, is just another ESB in the market with little added value vs alternatives in the market, unless you start drinking the "Kool-aid" of Salesforce pricing strategy applied to the Mulesoft products. Our integration architecture roadmap was based on Mulesoft products beyond just AnyPoint but when the M&A with Salesforce happened, we had to rethink everything as we already knew how Salesforce licensing model is. Our company will still rely on AnyPoint as an ESB, but for concepts like API Gateway, Brokerage, and Streaming, we're steering towards other alternatives in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enterprise Service Bus, internal service catalogue, and services orchestrations. Partially event-driven processes, but just with shoehorned tactical strategies that will be replaced for different capabilities in the future.
