Megaport is reliable ,cost efficient and super quick
What do you like best about the product?
Megaport provides services for all your connectivity requirements:Cloud/internet/WAN etc. What really helps its super easy to configure and the services are available almost instantly. Its a must have product for a company who operates in global and relies on a hybrid network
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a dedicate support portal to raise tickets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Megaport solves the problem of having access to spin up a connectivity as per our requirement instantly, which is crucial for an organization which has ever changing business needs. Its also good to have the flexibility to pay as you need, which solves a lot of problems.

What do you like best about the product?
Their account management team is extremely helpful in finding a solution that suits our organization. We can always rely on them, no matter the situation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing some service availability at some specific Data Centers, but we always figure out a work around together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We re-evaluated our networking requirements and determined that Megaport can provide a seamless, agnostic solution to connect our global network, through DC's and cloud connections.
Simplification, Agility, Flexibility, economical, best innovation for our business.
What do you like best about the product?
Megaportal was a “no-brainer” choice back in 2016, I am so glad to see it's evolving, growing, multiplying, expanding in such global scale. I have worked with two large scale companies, both are Megaportal customer. It has saved us from emergency break down caused by other Telco, it has given us highly resilient backup solution, all implementation was done within no time. Best choise ever!

What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot find anything I dis-like, I will continue promote MegaPort to others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to spin up an internet connection when our Telto's service experiencing prolonged break-down, our team was able to build a internet connection with no time. It was shortest time to solve a P1 incident.

The integration with our existing systems was seamless, with no major obstacles. The platform is intuitive, the pricing is significantly lower than competitors, and their support team is always ready to assist when needed.
Overall, my experience has been highly satisfactory. It's easy to set up, integrates well, and is a service we depend on regularly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn’t much to criticize. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to leverage AI technology to enhance the customer experience even further.

it addresses the challenges of establishing reliable and scalable cloud connections. By providing a direct and secure link to multiple cloud service providers, it eliminates the complexities and delays often associated with traditional connectivity solutions. This has allowed us to enhance our cloud infrastructure, improve performance, and reduce latency.

Easy to setup, great customer portal!
What do you like best about the product?
Megaport was easy to setup, almost everything can be done via their portal. And the integration was seamless with our DC provider.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing could be better for larger bandwidth options, and firewall options were very costly. Would be nice to see a basic firewall option available at a low cost.

Ease of brining in a internet connection with our DC provider.

Ever since switching to Megaport it has consistently delivered reliable, low-latency connectivity between our data centres and our customer environments. The ability to provision Virtual Cross Connects (VXCs) on demand is a game-changer, giving us the agility to respond quickly to business needs without long lead times.
The team is highly responsive, knowledgeable, and always eager to assist – even with complex networking scenarios.

Occasionally run into delays when data centers haven't updated their internal systems, leading to outdated LOAs that impact port availability, delays to provisioning

Communications are frequent and often, especially around outages or maintainence.
They have loads and loads of services and their portfolio keeps growing !
We used them quite extensively in our business for our key infrastructure sites, they are also a trusted brand throughout our wider business.

Not really a negative, however there is lots of maintenance periods, these can be hard to juggle within your business unless you have robust redudancy !
