Consistently Reliable Service with Outstanding Support
What do you like best about the product?
Reliability, we've been a consumer of Megaports services for over 5 years from our initial on premise to public cloud migration and now as our provider for site connectivity and inter cloud connectivity. Megaport has constantly performed and been a provider that we can rely upon. Their pre sales, account management and implementation support have been excellent at every stage of our journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, Megaport has consistently performed and delivered for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the early stages of our relationship with Megaport they provided presence in MMR's in various private data centres allowing us to run hybrid on premise and public cloud. Now that our Cloud migration is complete they provide resilient connectivity between our different cloud providers without the overhead of running our our WAN, routers etc. The ability to standup connectivity with minimal lead time and commitment has meant that we can run PoCs and experiment with our global connectivity much more freely and without the worry of unnecessarily purchasing some big iron!
Ease of Use and Deployment with Excellent Quality
What do you like best about the product?
What caught my attention the most was the ease of use and deployment, as well as the overall simplicity of the solution. Another positive point is the location of the data centers, which contributes to a better experience. Besides the quality of the service and features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't see any critical points. The only aspect that could be improved is the delay time in updating the dashboard when any modification is made via API or even through the web.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connectivity between different Cloud Providers, virtual routers (MCR), and virtual appliances like Fortigates is an important point to consider. This integration allows for greater flexibility and security in the infrastructure, facilitating the management and control of the cloud environment.

What I like best about Megaport is how easy it makes connecting everything together

What I dislike is that the pricing can feel a bit unpredictable at times—especially when scaling bandwidth up and down. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does mean I have to keep an extra eye on costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Megaport is solving the hassle of traditional networking—things like long provisioning times, rigid contracts, and the complexity of managing multiple providers. With Megaport, I can spin up cloud connections in minutes instead of weeks, scale bandwidth on demand, and link different environments without needing a big networking project every time.

Megaport stands out for several key reasons.
First, its on-demand speed is impressive—connections (VXCs) can be set up within minutes through an easy-to-use portal or API, rather than waiting months. The platform also offers private, secure, and direct access to all major cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as a vast global ecosystem. Additionally, Megaport is highly elastic and flexible, allowing you to adjust bandwidth instantly and pay only for what you use, so you’re not locked into long-term, fixed contracts.

Megaport, as a Network as a Service (NaaS) provider, has solved several significant problems for my organization:
Long Provisioning Times: Ordering dedicated, private network links (like a leased line) could take weeks or months to install. But with megaport We have got Immediate Provisioning: Connections are virtual and can be spun up (created) in minutes via a self-service portal or API.
Public Internet Risk: Using the public internet for cloud access is inherently insecure, unreliable, and prone to high latency and jitter. But with megaport, It provides dedicated, private links (Virtual Cross Connects or VXCs) that bypass the public internet.
Multicloud Complexity: Megaport network (Single Port) once and instantly provision connections to cloud providers (aws, amazon) in our case and service providers from a single platform

What do you like best about the product?
I love Megaport for its impressive uptime and zero complexity, which ensures that I have a reliable service for my business needs. The ease of implementation is another aspect I truly appreciate because it was incredibly quick, taking only a couple of minutes to set up. This seamless integration is crucial when switching from another service provider due to cost and complexity concerns. Megaport's ability to provide a dependable on-premise connectivity from Azure further enhances its value for me and my use case. I find the service's reliability essential, making it necessary for our business operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the addition of another physical device in our colocation facility to be challenging. Additionally, there seems to be an issue with achieving Layer 1 redundancy at our data center.

Megaport provides reliable on-premise connectivity from Azure with uptime and zero complexity. Its easy implementation and cost-effectiveness suit our business needs perfectly.
Instant Deployment and Outstanding Support with Megaport
What do you like best about the product?
When considering solutions for site interconnect and third-party cloud interconnect, Megaport stands out for its fast and straightforward deployment process. We can instantly order new services or make changes to existing ones, such as adjusting speed or bandwidth, or even deleting services ourselves. Whenever we need to set up a new link or port, we simply place an order through the portal, and within about 15 minutes, it’s ready for use. Another advantage is the real-time customer support—Megaport provides access to agents who assist immediately, so there’s no long wait to resolve any issues. There is various connection type for you to choose as well which increasing your options to provide services to our customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
You will need to request for 100G port if need. It's not provide on the portal by default.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Megaport provide fast deployment and scalability. It helps us solving an issue like waiting for 2 weeks or a month to deploy one interconnect between two data center or more.

Portal and good account team. They will help you up and running as soon as possible.

Easy connectivity between cloud and on-prem
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been working with Megaport to simplify and scale our global network connectivity, and the experience has been excellent. Their on-demand Network-as-a-Service model has given us the flexibility to connect to multiple cloud providers and data centres within minutes, without the complexity of traditional networking.
The platform is intuitive, provisioning is fast, and their customer support is responsive and technically capable. The scalability and predictable pricing have made it easier to manage multi-cloud workloads efficiently.
Overall, Megaport has been a strong technology partner — reliable, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement.

Not much that I dislike about Megaport at the moment, managing multiple services or viewing historical metrics can be improved.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, constantly evolving to improve customer experience. Always willing to listen to the customer and action their wants/needs. Very professional and reliable. Exceptional global reach.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On-prem to cloud connectivity is made really easy with megaport, including MACSEC support.
Megaport: Effortless Connectivity with Lightning-Fast Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I am incredibly impressed with Megaport's fast activation time and its overall service reliability. When we added an additional carrier using the Megaport service, I was thrilled at how quickly and smoothly everything was set up. The ease of use of the Megaport portal is remarkable—it's the simplest and most intuitive system I've ever used. I appreciate how quickly we can connect to new parties using the network, often within minutes, as long as they are already physically connected to the Megaport network. It's very straightforward and easy to navigate, especially when compared to other Ethernet carriers we deal with. The initial setup of Megaport was seamless, a perfect 10 out of 10 experience, and I would highly recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the need for the portal's usage graphs to be updated live in real-time. It would enhance my ability to monitor network activity more effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Megaport accelerates the connection setup with new carriers, impressing us with its turn-up speed and providing a user-friendly portal for efficient management.
