Great team, premium service

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility when adapting to each client. G2 Crowd has "out of the box" packages that should be enough to cover software companies needs. However, if you talk with your assigned team about the peculiarities of your business, they will do whatever possible to adapt their services to you. With increidble motivation and skill.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform lacks multi-language support and is too much USA oriented. Software market is global and even when most of activities are ok being in English, there are a lot of reviewers out there that feel more comfortable writing something as personal as a review in their own language. On the other hand, G2 Crowd is struggling to get on the top (if it hasn't already) of the Software Review credibility and reputation score table. They do effords commuincating their platform to the USA market and USA software consumers, that efford would be welcome in other languages and countries too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate social valoration of our software. The fact that G2 Crowd reviews are validated before being published and that come from real users allows us to differenciate from the late crazy race on getting paid reviews or reviews from low-trust sources seen in other platforms.

Explain your whole business to the team when implementing the service.

What do you like best about the product?
Its clever design and leveraging of NPS promoters.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. Advocately is quite impressive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advocately allows us to engage our NPS promoters in a way that celebrates both their success with our solution and the advantages of our product. We also love how Advocately goes above and beyond the call for user feedback and support.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 Crowd is definitely top of class and leader when offering features for a directory site. G2 Crowd is a well-known name in the directory market. They offer several features that no other directory site has.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our business goal is to drive traffic externally and we haven't seen any significant success yet in comparison to other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to generate leads externally by generating trial customers. We are still having problems with this but we are hoping over time it'll fix itself.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick help from the G2Crowd team made it much easier to get our profile and lead forms set up the way we wanted them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Side navigation under the admin view is not ideal (hard to find what you are looking for sometimes based on how everything is categorized).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding quality leads. Using the lead filters has helped us only pay attention to the best leads for our product.

Smooth and simple setup

What do you like best about the product?
G2 Crowd provides a smooth and simple setup. The navigation is setup to get you where you need to go fast and see the most relevant data. The integration with Hubspot and Salesforce is great and easy to setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the backend would miss saving changes or not show updates. More detailed analytics would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to get a better idea about who needs our product, who is looking for our software options and what it is being compared to. It's also helping us consider how important reviews can be to the customer purchase process and already shows that it can speed up the conversion process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
G2 Crowd will give you insight you may have never considered. If you question if reviews are helpful, G2 Crowd is proof, and when they land at the top spot in search engines that should be thought of as an extension of and compliment to the other marketing efforts.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to source reviews through their programs at our pace and comfort level. Our G2 Crowd reps provide us with education, options and understand our deliberative pace. They nudge, but they don't push or pressure to jump into strategies we're not ready to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of permissioning options. It would be nice to be able to authorize certain members of our management and support teams to respond to reviews without giving them access to all of the admin dashboard. It would be nice if we also had the option to respond as the company instead of individuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verifiable users and feedback. There are several software review and marketing sites out there but G2 Crowd does a great job in verifying that reviewers are real users even if the reviewer doesn't disclose their identity. It definitely gives us more confident in the feedback we receive. Also, the ability to gather leads and see data about who is considering our solution is extremely valuable data intelligence to our digital marketing team.

Be sure you understand how other review or software evaluation sites calculate their scores, rankings and/or ratings.

Helpful setup, see potential for a new lead gen channel

What do you like best about the product?
My team has been reduced in half in a month, so the time I had available to dedicate to this was limited and I was really concerned about this. But Kristina was great and patient in understanding my concerns and addressing them quickly, making the setup process go smoothly and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options that we can do to our profile ourselves without having to log a ticket with Support. It would also be preferable if I can respond to reviews as Planday, instead of as my personal LinkedIn profile. As such, I can only comment. This should be changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have luck with other review sites, so hope that G2 Crowd can be just as successful for us moving forward. The analytics and insights look like they will be very useful, however we currently don't have enough visits to make use of it. Excited to see what we can do with that once we have enough data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the use of the setup consultant you have - Kristina helped us set up the profile and establish integrations with our CRM software that we weren't initially certain we could do.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 Crowd is a great way to get brand awareness. They are extremely helpful and available to assist when we need them. As new customers, they worked with us to find a plan that suited our needs and budget, and continue to help us through the onboarding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish there was a way that we could block analytics coming from our IP addresses, so as to differentiate visitor traffic from our team monitoring and updating the pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Crowd does the heavy lifting for us. They reach out to our clients and offer incentives to review our product. We can then use the reviews for marketing purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting and support. They can improve the effectiveness of each campaign and allow you to tailor your review requests to different client segments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can take a few days for Advocately to capture a review that has been made on Capterra or Xero.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to perform similar review campaigns manually, this has allowed me to automate the process and save hours each week.
