Great Service Throughout the Onboarding Process
What do you like best about the product?
A smooth onboarding process by knowledgeable and friendly people. They were always available to help clarify some of the missing information we needed before upgrading.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major, If I would have to choose one thing, I would say the # of people I had to deal with from sales to onboarding process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a hub for all of our reviews and tools to help us do something with them. We are hoping the platform will help HR decision makers make the right choice when looking for HR software.

Strategic part of go to market plan, easy to set up, great account teams, and valuable grid reports
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up our company page was very straight forward with a robust list of capabilities, categories and detail to add. At minimum these profile pages should be set up.
After being able to build up reviews in a relatively short period of time we then turned to utilizing the Grid Reports to help drive engagement/leads as well as establishing our place in the market.
The Grid Reports were our #2 asset driving engagement and lead gen in our LinkedIn advertising program.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only area we would love to see some additional work, but I also know these updates are coming, are more API integrations with other marketing/display/social platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the growth of our reviews on our pages as well as how we are rated from our customers we have been identified by G2Crowd as a leader in our market with a couple of our products. This certainly helps to build up credibility with our brand, helps to establish ourselves as a strong player in the market and to consider when choosing a solution in our space.
With the program now up and running for a few months, almost a year actually, we are now also realizing that while there is value in driving clicks and leads from this space it actually is also a strong way to identify who is actively comparing vendors in the market and including or NOT including us in that search. This has caused us to look into how can we incorporate these indicators into our marketing/sales motions to prioritize our plans.

What do you like best about the product?
The support the G2 Crowd team has been incredible. Marty is so responsive and had really pushed us to adopt the proven strategies that have worked very well for other G2 Crowd clients. He's been right about everything and we're seeing very quick results and dramatic improvements to our grid ranking and success in obtain new customer reviews. We are a global business so it's important to us that G2 Crowd is a global product review site -- we hear from prospects and global team members how important this platform is from across various regions in the ecommerce/subs/payment processing technology buying process. Looking forward to expanding our efforts and further investment in this marketing channel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our initial performance goals were around lead generation and brand visibility on the leader grids. Quite frankly, we weren't seeing any leads or any placement on the grid until we were able to obtain a lot of positive customer reviews, unfortunately 11 months into the annual contract. Now we have started to see some regular activity and great progress on the effectiveness. The intent program is very expensive and it will be difficult to justify our ROI given our relatively low cost of acquisition needed for our ROI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing brand and product awareness, informing the buyer and generating interested buyer inbound leads for our sales team.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a real website, a real company, with real rewards. They are looking out for you and for the clients! The fact that they are trying to promote and put other companies with all kinds of software and products with honest reviews from us its awesome!

Nothing really, they aren't even invasive. Pretty chill!

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some manual things like Account Mapping and implementation that could be very time intensive on your sales op and/or end user. G2 is working on ways to improve work flows. Think about what playbooks to run with the data G2 can provide.

Good platform, great support, not adapted for every services.

The effectiveness for services. The areas of the profile are not for services...

Make sur that you are reaching to right buyers. G2 Crowd is primarily built for products or SaaS. Less for services. like web dev., design, etc.

The team is very helpful whenever we need anything. They are on top of everything every step of the way.

Pricing seemed a bit high at first as we were unsure what that money invested was going to get us. But it is clear that they are experienced and we are now hoping to see a nice ROI from it.

What do you like best about the product?
G2Crowd is increasingly becoming a crucial part of our overall brand awareness and recognition of our empirical value in the industry. It’s critical for us to get detailed, first-hand, independent feedback from our customers that can be utilized by prospects and our internal sales and product teams as well.
The vendor portal is very user friendly, and our account manager, George, has been helpful every step of the way. We recently launched a new review campaign, called G2 Gives, and we are excited by the idea of incentivizing customers and reviews with charity donations.
Overall, G2 Crowd has already brought great value to our company and we are looking to expand the use of it over time.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many useful features – there is not much to dislike. And I think the vision and roadmap can take G2 to even broader value for us. I guess the most difficult part is change management on our side – i.e. how do we get our teams to more habitually use the G2 features and information in all of our internal sales, marketing, support, and product processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is nothing more powerful or credible than first-hand experience from a real customer. Our biggest benefit is the ability to utilize the customer’s voice to tell our story and articulate our value. We also get the benefit of users telling us directly where we can improve, so it serves as a great input to our product and support organizations.
