A true source of peace of mind for prospects & customers
What do you like best about the product?
The team at G2 helped us reach our main goal: to let the world know that we have lots of customers that are truly enthusiastic about our products. We needed a dependable, trusted platform for those voices to be heard, and G2 helped us run a series of campaigns that resulted in over 100 reviews written about our product in just a few months.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the most advanced features require plans that are a bit pricey for a startup :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to increase "peace of mind" around our products. We knew that we had many, really happy customers, but we needed a visible, portable way to convey that. We can now link to the reviews page, mention our rating in our marketing docs & email signatures, etc.

Great team, great insight!
What do you like best about the product?
Onboarding was very efficient and very effective! It was very easy to understand and clear in expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Driving social proof with a neutral party. Benefits are increase in site traffic, valuable reviews and reference opt-in.

If you're looking for very valuable insight into the customer experience, look no further than G2.

Greater brand awareness and ensuring our category is clearly articulated in the marketplace
A greater understanding of how potential buyers are behaving
What do you like best about the product?
Buyer intent data: This gives a great view on what potential buyers are looking for, what is important to them, and if we are in their sights. If not, we can adjust. It gives us a clear picture of the overall market and our vertical.
Being able to see who we are being compared to most often also gives our sales team another piece of information that they can bring into sales opportunities.
Review widgets: Highlighting review scores and reviews gives us an edge. We have spent years building a great reputation - and now it's easy for our customers to tell the world!

Some vendors shouldn't be in our category, the research team needs to look a little bit more closely.

We're removing guess work, discovering new prospects, identifying customers with a wandering eye and adjusting to market conditions.

Make sure that you get buy in from your sales team! They are the ones that are going to bring about the most amount of impact in my view.
Bringing transparency and ease to our buyers
What do you like best about the product?
In the past, we have had a difficult time gathering feedback from our customers regarding their experience with our products but G2 has helped make this process easy. They do all the work for us and our customers are eager to share their feedback and see what other customers are saying.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does cost a significant amount for each individual profile. If the profiles were less expensive, we would be able to add all of our products to the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 helps build transparency for what products we have to offer and what REAL customers are saying about their experience using the products. We have been around for nearly 30 years as a company and have a significant amount of credibility in our space but this helps us stay on the top of the lists.
Proactive Onboarding and Support
What do you like best about the product?
That the team has a great schedule of walkthroughs and training with what's available in the G2 system. They don't give you a packet and have you figure it out yourself, they schedule one on ones to make sure you know what is available to you. They also provide best practices on what other users are doing to make sure you're ahead of the game.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes here - all the content sent over is easy to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems solved are mostly around learning the ins and outs of this tool. Having best practices provided by the team helped us get up and running as soon as possible.
Great for advocacy
What do you like best about the product?
The tradeshow review service is fantastic. We recently hosted a large conference and had a review station in our customer lounge for them to share love. We've gotten a ton of reviews and customers said they really liked the experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing. It's a great service and we're happy customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for the challenge of getting more diverse customer stories told on G2. Having a physical station for customers to leverage has helped ramp up the total number.

What do you like best about the product?
The team are incredibly attentive and have gone above and beyond to get us set up for success!

Not being able to leverage intent data across other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social proof about our product and getting in front of decision makers.
Good Tool for Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the software ranks you against your competition in a way that's consumer focused.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to discover a way to use this same tool for non-software sales

We are using it for lead generation but still in the implementation phases.

Be prepared to ask for reviews and testimonials from clients.
Deepest Funnel Intent on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
I love seeing who's looking at our reviews, it gives our sales team a huge advantage but it also helps our CS team retain our current clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more categories. The category we're in is too broad, we have several vendors who have very different offerings and actually a few clients who show up as competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 allows us to know who's shopping for a tool like ours which ensures we have a seat at the table.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a clear plan to execute against the data. It's only as good as make it, and it took us a few months to figure out how to operationalize the data correctly but now that we have, we can't live without it.
