Solid platform and a great partner in community

What do you like best about the product?
I've always enjoyed the way that good community practices are baked into the system. The Khoros staff understands community deeply. There are many other options out there, including "bolt-on" offerings for big platforms that do a wide variety of functions. But I find the Khoros focus on community (and care) helps us to deliver the best experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
As one of the most established community platforms, Khoros innovation moves a little slower than some of the newer offerings. However, they have a solid roadmap that they update and share regularly. They are also responsive to feedback. Support tickets sometimes linger; it's important to advocate strongly for fixes that need quick attention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At its core, our community is a support resource for customers. We realize good ROI just by serving answers that would otherwise generate support cases -- more expensive to service. In addition, we use the community as a hub for engagement across all of our user-focused programs. It's not just for break-fix; it's for learning and fun too.

Care: Sophisticated tool that take time to setup AND manage

What do you like best about the product?
Good to organize and manage activities for a distributed team of employees, monitor and audit their work, hand over tasks among team members...
What do you dislike about the product?
Time it takes to set up, learn. Also the fact that I need to click on so many buttons to do something. In particular, the need to CLOSE a conversation even I don't need to do anything with it. Takes 3 clicks to close a conversation (times xxxxx ! )
some things I can't do on Care so I need to go to the Community: @mention, move posts, edit, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1 - Moderation for a Khoros based Community: I have a team of 7 employees around the world, each of them part-time. Not ideal set up but can't change it at the moment. Care allows us to organize the work among these employees.

Communities is a great opportunity to connect with people and find solutions together

What do you like best about the product?
Networking is a key in this social media and digital context. Having the opportunity to connect with other people using the same product on other countries for other brands is just amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, this is a tool you can use if you feel you need to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am always trying to find how to improve the way we use the khoros products, and this space is just a great chance.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Customer Success program and support at Khoros.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of features in the Khoros platform, most of the out-of-the-box features are good, but custom features require development and there is a learningcurve in learning about the platform, it is not intuitive without some training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using our community as a marketing tool, we post blog content and teaching resources for our instructors, and we promote our book authors on the community.

Solid online community platform

What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable it is to fit the existing online ecosystem for our customers. It has a solid foundation to add features like a blog, contests, and gamification.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's cumbersome to manage and reply to posts as a moderator. Thankfully we also got Khoros Care which makes replying and managing the community a breeze. I can't imagine not having that to work the community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to use the community to keep a pulse on our community base and get a heads up on potential trending issues to address before it escalates. By addressing issues reported by the few in the community, we're helping countless more who may also have had that issue.

What do you like best about the product?
Very good performance on huge communities with a lot of content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tech stack is relatively old and needs an update. But that is planned for the next year(s).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users help users in general. We were able to reduce the cost of the call center.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about using custom components instead of khoros default components for more functionality.

What do you like best about the product?
Khoros is an excellent platform for running a community. It has all essential features, and it also has an option for customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
For customization: sometimes it is tricky to retrieve the data. There should be a chain of API calls for getting everything needed, but I agree to pay this "price" for the complete platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all, Khoros helps to save money on some engineering jobs. This platform is ready to use out of the box.

What do you like best about the product?
In khoros community, we have different interaction styles like blogs, tkb, ideas,forums and much more...
Having a great user experience, integrated search and some other features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is way too costly and not economical for small brands and small businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users do not need to move to service center for any product issue. User can go to brand community and search the issue within forums.
