MFA to the rescue
What do you like best about the product?
The cloud setup and low-touch requirements once setup. It is a well designed tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The remote utility on the phone can follow the notification settings so if had speaker off or vibrate takes a try or two before remember that I have to hit the MFA. Might be an add to the firewall logon warning if MFA is activated and that the rejection was from no mfa.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MFA has allowed us to have a much more secure access method for remote users, another layer above the SSL VPN on it's own.
Product was responsive and easy to use and deploy
What do you like best about the product?
The automatic logon with Windows, secured by the app on my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multi user access to a workstation, Allowing multiple techs to access a machine remotely was awkward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, against my preference we have opted to use Duo for MFA instead. so are not using it at the moment.
Difficult to setup but easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy being able to have my phone as a device that allows me to use it for 2 factor authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not enjoy the setup side of this in the firewall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We simply needed to add security for end users and this does it.
Authpoint, a device independent MFA solution
What do you like best about the product?
The cost is much cheaper than comparable solutions. It is extremely easy to set up and manage. It is full of features in that it supports various technologies such as RADIUS authentication, ADFS, local logons, many SAML web apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has been slow in adopting or adapting to various technologies. They don't support IKEv2 VPNs and SAML based applications are still a all or nothing venture. This poses a problem when you want to slowly roll out the application to a larger corporation in stages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing email, VPNs, internal resources via Access Portal, secure SSO across multiple web apps
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a free trial and give it a shot, you have nothing to lose and might find it fits you perfectly.
Auth point review
What do you like best about the product?
the verification option let us know who is signing in.
What do you dislike about the product?
want to find more ways to incorporate into additional services
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
enable more security on access.
Peace of mind
What do you like best about the product?
Quick to setup and deploy to users. Easy to manage. Peace of mind knowing that user accounts have an extra layer of security that's not complex for them to handle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes users don't get the email for account setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing remote access to their networks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to read the documentation however if you are stuck, technical support is available and always a pleasure to work with.
Authpoint, what every business needs...
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use and add a needed layer of security to end users. Single solutions for multiple products, O365, RDS, endpoints.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime there are login delays, very infrequent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Immediate benefit to secure against password breaches. Ability to run it across RDS sessions and secure the entire edge.
Benefits of AuthPoint MFA
What do you like best about the product?
It's great for consolidating MFA accounts in one app by allowing the addition of third-party tokens that aren't fully supported by AuthPoint. The push-notification option is much easier than having to open the app and get a code. The details available for each token is amazing compared to other MFA apps:
- being able to edit token details is helpful for naming
- the "Show token details" gives important info
- "Migrate token" is probable the best feature of all compared to other apps, especially when having to change devices

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integration guides don't provide enough details on the different implementation options available for each supported service. Also, some of the integration options are limiting/lack flexibility to some usage scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to consolidate MFA tokens in one app is probably the best problem solved by AuthPoint.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try!
Easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use. Works great! Good prodcut
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could look a little bit better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MFA is the new normal method to authenticate.
Dive into MFA/2FA with WatchGuard
What do you like best about the product?
Robust, well designed MFA. I can confirm the fact that WatchGuard themselves use their own product in-house too which goes to show you their level of confidence in their own product considering the "high-value" target they have on them being a network security bastion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing with the product itself. The most difficult part is uprooting a companies lazy security practices and convincing end-users the true value of MFA/2FA. All the more easier however once a breach has occurred because then the attitude is more "whatever it takes".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Comprehensive end-user security that gives MSPs more peace of mind since the end-users are the biggest threats we have. No more shared accounts. We also now have true non-repudiation and thus accountability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are two types of people, those who have MFA, and those whom have yet to suffer a breach.
