Compliance Is No Longer a Cost Center
What do you like best about the product?
As CEO of an emerging retail brand, my focus is earning customer trust and spurring growth--not on becoming a compliance expert. Secureframe took the mystery out of SOC 2 for us. It gave us a concise, actionable plan that my team could execute without requiring an expensive, full-time CISO. Automated evidence gathering from our Azure cloud infrastructure and Shopify store saved us hundreds of hours of manual labor. It made an overwhelming, opaque project a manageable operation.
What do you dislike about the product?
A high price for an early-stage company. The ROI is obvious in saved time and won business, but the upfront price requires a leap of faith. There also were a few of the onboarding and initial tasks that we felt overwhelmed by before finding our groove with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved two things substantially:
1) Operational torture: We were wrangling compliance in spreadsheets and share drives, which was bad-work/inefficient. 2) Sales friction: Big enterprise retailers needed long security questionnaires we were unable to answer instantly. Secureframe solved the first for us with automation and gave immediate, auditable evidence for the latter -- trust in our company increased dramatically that continues to last today!

A Force Multiplier for a Resource-strapped IT Team
What do you like best about the product?
It is a force multiplier. My team is highly talented but small, and Secureframe takes a ton of the boring work of evidence collection out of compliance. Reporting to our board and auditors has never been simpler; the time we save with reporting is tremendous. The support team is responsive and gets the challenges of computer network IT. We were impressed with the list of features and how easy it was to integrate to our core platforms - quick and painless implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more healthcare based content and templates built into the KB. The platform is extensible, but we were forced to tinker with the basic policies a bit to suit our particular use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a solution for the resource allocation. We don’t have to put a full-timer on mind-numbing compliance grunt work, we can do it with staff as is. This is not only good for the organization in terms of reducing bureaucracy, and personnel costs, but it frees my team to think about what’s next in innovation and how we can best support clinical staff rather than punching a clock.

What do you like best about the product?
The customer support is best in class super responsive and proactive. They made the entire process process smooth, from integration to daily use. We always feel supported and in good hands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some dashboards could be more intuitive at first glance. It takes a bit to get used to where everything is, but familiar it becomes a powerful and reliable platform.

Secureframe automates cloud compliance, saving us time on manual tracking. it keeps us audit ready year round and ensures we meet financial data protection standards.
From Unfathomable to Reachable: Our SOC 2 Voyage
What do you like best about the product?
The absolute best part is how it demystifies compliance. I’m a wellness brand founder so I’m an expert in products not cyber security frameworks. Secureframe converted unclear needs of SOC 2 into a faith-based checklist. We were focused on the implementation. We started with the highest risk areas—connecting our Azure environment and the Shopify store. Their customer service was tolerant and I was never made to feel stupid for asking questions. Now it is used weekly for control reviews and the vendor risk assessment automation has been a life-saver for our new suppliers vetting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a big line item for our bootstrapped startup. This is where the value comes in, but it caused me to hesitate during my initial investment. I also thought the project management side, setting tasks for my team, was a bit clunky to get to grips with at first. It took us about a week to get into its groove.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It relieved the paralyzing fear of being audited. We were drowning in spreadsheets and screenshots that we took manually. Now evidence from Azure, Google Workspace and our HR platform come in automatically.” This is saving us dozens of hours manually and serves, as CEO, to give me real reassurance that our customers data is secure which has no price tag for our brand identity.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe platform is clean, easy to navigate and saves s serious time. we especially appreciate the automated privacy checks and how simple it is to track vendor responses in one spot.

The Initial Setup took a bit of coordination and a few features felt slightly limited for healthcare specific needs. still support was quick to help us find workaround

What do you like best about the product?
The best part is their customer support super helpful and quick to respond. The platform is easy to use and fits well without our existing system. It has all the features we need to stay compliant without extra headaches.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if report customization was a bi easier, Also setup took a little longer than we hope, but the support team really helped us get through it.

Secureframe Customer support is top notch quick, helpful and always available when we need them. The platform is easy to use, integrates well with our tools and make managing vendor risk and audits much simpler.

Some Integrations took a bit longer to set up, especially with older system. Also the reporting dashboard could offer flexibility, But overall these are small tradeoffs for a solid platform.

The Only downside we've noticed is that some of the integrations could be more customizable, especially with niche tools we use in retail. It's not a dealbreaker, but there's room to grow in that area.

The Vendor dashboard can get a bit overwhelming when you're managing a lot of partners. Also, more flexible reporting and integrations would be great. But overall these are small things compared to how much it helps us.
