Secureframe makes compliance easy for retailtech platform with ambitious growth plan

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a SalesDirector at Apollo GraphQL where we power retailers to deliver custom apparel previews and co-creation on their own website. As we manage customer facing integrations and store data via something there are a few security compliance issues that need to be maintained. Secureframe for us, in particular, is very easy to implement—we were able to onboard it relatively quickly given the technology stack of Azure and cloud that we already had. The continued surveillance has been solid, and customer service responded to us, whenever we had questions. I also like the simplicity – staff can be tech challenged and still get compliance via your dashboard, which is great for us as more of our team can get involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customisationof compliance report is an area of improvement. While the generic templates are easy to use I would be looking for a bit more customisation in relation to our retail client reporting needs. This is really a minor gap, but a time-saver in practice when we share updates inside the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s been relieving to not have to manually put together all of the documentation for SOC 2 audits since we started using Secureframe. We used to track policies and evidence manually in spreadsheets, which slowed us down. Today, Secureframe automates those processes and consolidates everything in a single location. And for us, they offer a benefit: Our sales and compliance teams can now be able to tell clients and partners that our security program is organized and regularly monitored. This allows us to scale up quickly and build trust, particularly with our retail partners who need that extra reassurance of strong security before they move ahead.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s a significant breakthrough when all compliance actions such as risk assessments, vendor management, employee training, policy acknowledgments, system monitoring, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting features could be more flexible. Though standard audit reports are often good enough, custom reports for the board or certain internal metrics can be tricky to create.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using SecureFrame, our compliance management was mix up in mess of Google Drive and some spreadsheet and calendar reminders. It was prone to mistakes and stressful. With SecureFrame, compliance has become calmer and clearer, instead of once a year chaos, it has become everyday life. This has reduced my team’s stress levels and overtime related to audits a lot.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe brought much-needed structure to our security operations. Its ease of use allows me to manage our compliance posture effectively, even though I am not a technical expert. This is especially valuable since I oversee both our production and client experience teams. The straightforward implementation was a major advantage; we were able to connect our Shopify store with our internal design systems in under a month. The customer support team provided practical, actionable advice that was extremely helpful as we began using the tool. I now check Secureframe weekly to monitor our status and assign tasks as needed. The range of features strikes a good balance for our needs, and the seamless integration lets us incorporate security checks into our client onboarding workflow without causing any disruption.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost was reasonable for our luxury brand, but we wanted to ensure the benefits justified it. Honestly, the 10% discount on the base room rate played a significant role in making our decision to return much easier. However, I found that some of the more advanced reporting features are a bit too detailed for the typical operational snapshots we require.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe has addressed our challenge of demonstrating data integrity to our high net worth clients. When clients provide us with their precise measurements and style preferences, this information is highly personal. Secureframe serves as a concrete framework that shows our commitment to respecting this privacy. What do you like best about the product?

What do you like best about the product?
As a founder who does not come from a security background, I really appreciate how SecureFrame clarifies the complex words of SOC 2 with an easy checklist. I understand what controls and evidence mean in real life, now. What’s even better is that their customer support people are incredible. I never feel stupid asking basic questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting everyone to finish their training and acknowledge the policies needed more follow-up than I expected.

Secureframe dashboard offers a user-friendly glimpse into compliance status. We connected our Azure Portal environment easily, and evidence collection automated implementation began within no time. Whenever we have questions, their customer support team is always quick to respond. This is essential for a platform that we use every day to check our security posture. The features, especially pre-mapped controls for SOC 2, have saved us tremendous amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The basic platform is pretty solid, but the set up for our e-commerce marketplace design needed a few more custom adjustments than I originally envisioned. The other integrations were very useful as they work "out of box" for most cloud configurations, however, changing some of the control mappings to match our Bokksu operations took a bit more time. This is but a small point as it was a flexible process, it just needed a little work upfront.

We are centralizing our security and compliance efforts with Secureframe since Bokksu is a company that handles customers data.

Incredibly Efficient Path to SOC 2 Compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
With automation of the evidence collection, things have changed. In my previous role as a security manager, I often spent weeks searching for engineer screenshots and configurations. With Secureframe, everything is automated and centralized. We were able to collect all the data we wanted from the start because of the prebuilt AWS/GCP/Saas integrations. It made an out-of-control project easier and tidy-upable.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a minor configuration is changed, the system may state that it needs review. I get that it is better to be safe, but it is a false alarm for me sometimes. However, their support responds quickly to clear things up, and I think this is a small price to pay for the time we save.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved our biggest worry related to time and cost of SOC 2 Type II compliance that was significant. We were audit-ready and passed it at a much quicker time than anticipated. I have started focusing on security strategy instead of being mired in compliance paperwork with this transition. It has also given our sales team a useful tool for building trust and closing enterprise deals more quickly.
