Great tool for your Phish Combat Toolbox
What do you like best about the product?
Users can easily report emails for review. You can then create a query to find other emails like it and/or flip it for a phishing test.
Easy to use. Makes incident response easier when your whole organization can quickly report an email.

I wish you could only search for the malicious email address when creating a search query rather than having to select 2 search requirements.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly seeing reported emails and then taking action before people have the time to see/open the email. The whole company is helping you find malicious emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Other tools allow you to report/review/take action on emails. This one specifically allows you to use that email to flip it to a phishing test to see how your organization as a whole would respond to such a threat, and then utilize that test to further train and increase security awareness across your organization.
A great all around SOAR platform for Email Security
What do you like best about the product?
PhishER is easy to set up and link with our existing phish report button and gets to work instantly. It's easy to understand what is being reported, and PhishML greatly reduces analyst investigation time. Auto responses also greatly reduce SOC response times and let our users know that we are looking into their issues, making them more likely to report.
What do you dislike about the product?
The YARL rules are a bit hard to set up, and I would like to see future development into the custom rule set up to be a bit easier to follow. Not impossible, but could be a bit more simple for adding tags to emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER has greatly reduced the time for our analysts to investigate and respond to email threats inside of our environment. We have seen a near 150% increase in malicious email reports, and a near 80% reduction in time to respond to threats from our internal SOC. PhishER allows us to quickly find threats that users report, and delete them from all user inboxes. A game-changer when it comes to SOAR platforms.
Another major benefit that we did not expect is that this platform encourages users to report more emails, and the ML capabilities allow us to get a clearer picture of what is clean, spam, and a threat.

This is a top-tier SOAR platform for those in the KnowBe4 universe. Highly recommend in combination with the KnowBe4 phish report button.
PhishER is a good service
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to make queiries. I'm able to respond quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a way to delete queries after they are created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Stopping phishing and spam is greatly appreciated. It is nice to have something always work.

The ability to for creating rules for automation, the ability to set thresholds for triggering events, and the Phish Alert Button!

Relying on people to submit phish emails

Using the header info to block outside attempts. Has helped improve our Office 365 block list. Has saved us numerous hours in dealing with phishing attempts

PhishER exceeds expectations.
What do you like best about the product?
The integrations are extremely helpful. We are able to integrate VirusTotal for additional scanning of URLs and file signatures to identify threats that may have made it through our Email Security Platform. We are also able to integrate our Helpdesk application to auto-generate tickets for Threats and for submissions that do not have a conclusive disposition. Both of these integrations save us time. The platform also allows us to attach the original message to an acknowledgment email for submissions that are found to be clean. Again saving us time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been on the platform for about 2 years. At this point, I have not found anything in the platform that I do not like. One feature I would like to see in the platform in the future would be a sandbox to allow security professionals the ability to detonate malicious attachments/URLs/code to allow us the ability to see the behavior of the attack. This would help in our threat hunting throughout the complete enterprise network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we are solving with PhishER is the time between our email security firm acknowledging/blocking a threat and the few messages that will slip through that crack. PhishER provides our users the ability to report these threats so we can go back to see if other users have been affected before the email security starts blocking because of the found threat.

Ease of use with button being right in Outlook.

There is nothing that I dislike at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users are able to easily push phishing and spam emails to KnowBe4 and our IT provider rather than forwarding emails to me or the provider.
PhishER, great add on for email protection
What do you like best about the product?
PhishER is a great tool to protect our mailbox users since it seems very good at detecting malicious emails, malicious attachments and malicious web links. So far, since we implement the PhishER, our email security problems have greatly improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the time that the system takes some time to analyze and review an email that was flagged as malicious is too long and that up the risk of another user being infected with that same email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used PhishER to add another layer of security since malicious emails are now so dangerous and very hard to resolve when they start spreading on a network so the best protection is to prevent emails from even getting into the mailbox.

It's automated so it works as soon as I click the phish alert.

Sometimes trying to manually diagnose can be tricky.

That it's ease of use makes me feel more secure.

What do you like best about the product?
PhishER was a perfect fit for our small organization. We can submit phishing emails and get reporting without the expensive cost of an email filter with our O365 Exchange setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Phish ER RIP application is useful, and I just hope there are more suggestions in the future for setting up SPF, DMARC and tightening default security settings.

Tracking how many phishing emails bypass our security, what types of messages, a central, secure way to submit malicious messages without having our IT Team click to analyze them in person
