Fantastic triage and automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
WIth PhishML, PhishRIP and a little tuning, it's possible to get a fairly robust inspection and full-tenant mitigation/quarantine done with zero touch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was more automation and rules available OOB, documentation leaves a bit to be desired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER has allowed us to create a fantastic funnel for all suspect email reporting, and the automations save our staff a lot of time, and ensure quick mitigation.
PhishER is a fantastic way to maintain security in your org!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use and how efficient it is to help keep our users safe and educated especially in the ever-increasing world of cybersecurity risks and attacks!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't really anything I'd say I dislike about this product.I appreciate how easy it is to use and functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We love PhishER because its a very easy way to receive reports from our users instead of having to pour through our old ticketing system to find priority issues that should be handled immediately instead of finding them later on when time is always of the importance in these cases.

What do you like best about the product?
Organizations are highly vulnerable to cyber-attacks and phishing these days. Many of these attacks originate with a simple email. PhishER by KnowBe4 combines AI and human intelligence to identify and automatically remove malicious emails in real-time. Our end-users report suspicious emails with the click of a button in MS Outlook. This creates a ticket for the IT administrators to follow up and remove similar emails from all the mailboxes with a single click. A great time saver. Any false positives can be reversed and moved back to the mailbox with the same simplicity. The training materials are excellent and customizable to our needs. The web interface is easy to navigate and integrated with the SSO and MFA.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall rate of false positives is understandable but still exists. More features are being added to the platform and continued user training is still a requirement to be 100% successful to thwart all attacks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily, this tool is a great time saver to identify and report phishing. Users are more open to reporting suspicious emails from the mail client (Outlook) rather than deleting them or creating a separate ticket for the IT administrators. The training material is excellent, customizable, and relevant. What we most like is the phishing test tool to train and identify questionable emails. Periodic testing is used to gauge the effectiveness of training programs that are designed to help employees spot phishing or suspicious emails and handle them appropriately.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand your needs. Spend time to evaluate similar products and compare features. User education is an extremely important part of security training, so review training materials.

What do you like best about the product?
PhishER has provided us with the ability to quickly perform an analysis on the phishing email that the end-user has submitted through their Knowbe4 Phish button in Outlook. I also like the integration it has with Virustotal to perform URL and Attachment scans. Its PhishML component within ER provides additional insight by rating the email based on 3 categories: Clean, Spam, and Threat.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any dislikes of the tool that I can see at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool is allowing us to respond to reported Phish email in a much quicker fashion. We use to do all this manually using various tools to validate whether an email is a phish or not.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A great product I would recommend to speed up your phishing analysis.
Excellent phishing remediation and email review platform!
What do you like best about the product?
PhishER allows users to send the full raw email. SecOps can review the full header and email content. PhisherEr does virus scanning on attachments and links. PhishER can be upgraded to use PhishRIP and PhishFLIP which is a very powerful remediation of malicious phishing emails
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup of connecting PhishER to your email provider can be complicated. Implementing the Phish Alert Button is limited and difficult. Rules and actions take time to correctly set up and work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER provides SecOps with the real-time ability to view and respond to phishing emails. Addressing phishing emails significantly increases your security posture and addresses the social engineering risk that is prevelent.
PhishER has been an invaluable teaching tool for our employees.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to navigate and makes it easy to keep track of our Phish test and trainings for our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to see the template names when looking at inactive campaigns would be helpful. I often retest campaigns that have had higher than average Phish-Prone %, not having to open the campaign to see which template I should retest would be time saving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User recognition of potential threats has been greatly increased, use of the PAB has increased our feeling of security.
Useful Security Training Platform
What do you like best about the product?
As an IT Manager, I can get very overloaded with tasks, I like PhishER because it helped automate the emails being scanned so I wouldn't have to manually double-check each potential threat/spam.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few things I noticed is that PhishER doesn't always show what was the threat. Also, it doesn't always run the VirusTotal before it claims the status of the email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phish ER is solving problems by preventing potential threats that might stay in a user's mailbox. It also helps me as an IT manager save time by letting the users select the Phish Alert button and it automatically scans the email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend trying out the free trail and compare with other companies, you will notice PHishER is efficient and successful

I love the phishing hook & the capabilities to analyze the issues. I also love their phishing campaigns & security trainings

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In this current world of increased cyber-attacks through phishing & ransomware, it is very necessary to have some tool like PhishER to manage & administer this task using the Machine Learning & reducing the manual work my small team would be doing.
Efficient and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
PhishER is easy to setup and to use. My users can easily report a suspected Phishing email, the PhishER system then analyzes the email and acts on the result. If it is deemed a threat, it automatically searches for and quarantines the email across all mailboxes. I receive an email alert so I can review the situation, and either delete the emails or restore them with 2 clicks. My users like knowing that their reporting of phishing emails is helping the company by reducing risk. If it is particularly good phishing email, I can use PhishFlip to add it our pool of phish test emails with one click.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be an easier way to report to KnowBe4 of false positives or phishing emails that the system failed to identify as a phishing email. A simple service status at the top of the dashboard. I would really like to see them implement a dark mode as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The product is increasing our overall organizational awareness of phishing attacks. Having one person identify a phishing email and have PhishER remove that attack from the rest of the company.

You honestly cannot go wrong with this product. It does what is says it will, and does it well.

It is easy to navigate, the support is very easy to work with, and it has helped our employees become more versed in identifying suspicious emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything. It has been easy to adapt to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The product has helped our employees both in their work and at home by familiarizing them with the tactics used in spam and phishing messages.
