Great Solution for Email Training
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, most staff are onboard with little need to push for support due to the ease of use. Inside man series has been really well received by staff as a more enjoyable way to receive information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive to get the emails automatically checked with third-party software. I believe PhishER are looking into this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy way for people to report SPAM and malicious emails. Useful and easy training sessions to roll out steadily. We frequently use Phishing campaigns help find weaknesses within the team and auto-assign remedial training for users who click links.
Save Time and Improve Employee's Experience
What do you like best about the product?
PhishER saved me time with automated respsonses to normal business emails, automated reports, scans, etc that are flagged as phishing emails. 2/3s of our emails are handled automatically. Integration with VirusTotal has been helpful to quickly identify certain types of threats. This has improved my time to focus on real issues, attacks or clean emails falsely flagged.
What do you dislike about the product?
PhishER can be slightly difficult to configure without much experience with YARA rules. When I configured it I would have prefered more tips, training and practice rules to review before I configured my rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before PhishER, the department responded to about 10% clean emails with no understanding what the customer impact was. These emails had unexpected PDF scans from customers or were vendors sending emails that looked odd. Now we respond to 100% of customer impacting clean emails and about 60% of clean emails. All threats are identified, investigated and responded to quickly with PhishRip.

What do you like best about the product?
PhishER has been very responsive. They have significantly increased the educational offerings and general awareness of the staff in our organization. It has been easy to work with them, and their customer service has been excellent. The reports look great and are easy to share with our leadership team and board. I'm approached by staff who are excited when they recognize a fake. PhishER has been great for increasing our email and online security awareness.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been using PhishER for about 6 months now, and there hasn't been anything to dislike thus far. It is easy to set up the trainings to address when employees click on something they shouldn't. However, some staff don't like the "extra training". I believe it has been beneficial and most are OK with it once they understand the seriousness of the threats facing facilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER solves issues with the time it takes to create and administer education around information technology security, phishing, vishing, privacy, and more. It has also helped us to help our staff realize the types of attacks they may be vulnerable to.
Phishing Research Done Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The general amount of options seems to be fairly mature including filtering and response to the various phishing, spam, and malware. I find myself being able to go through more spam faster with the help and integration KnowBe4 has put into this product.
What do you dislike about the product?
KnowBe4 does require a bit of initial configuration to include setting up rules for detection and a minor bit of time for the system to be more tailored to your environment. However, this is mostly mitigated by the helpful customer service KnowBe4 provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER provides a fairly worry-free service that allows prompt reaction and breakdown into a very digestible format in a single source in comparison. I appreciate their tool.

I love the rule-based categoration and PhishFlip features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do now know of anything with PhishER that is not helpful. I am currently unable to take advantage of all features due to our antiquated infrastructure, but we are in the process of upgrading to get there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My end-users are seeing real-life phishing attempts alongside the KnowBe4 templates to know that true bad-actors will do whatever it takes to trick them into taking their bait.

PhishER has been one of my best decisions!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the automated nature of how suspected Phishing emails are reported and evaluated before my team looks at them. Being able to see a list of the reported messages with the machine learning tags versus looking at an inbox of just "raw" emails is so much better than how we have handled submissions over the years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything in PhishER. I wish PhishRip wasn't so restrictive sometimes but I understand why the restrictions are needed or the tool may be abused.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sorting through an inbox and manually pulling out elements of suspected phishing emails has been a real time-consuming task. Now we can just look at each report and see the elements pulled out for us so we can quickly evaluate and verify the machine learning assessment.

What do you like best about the product?
We have a 1 person IT department, combing through emails to confirm good or bad is extremely time consuming. With rules and automated tasks, it has become very easy to manage. How does it compare to competitors? I don't think anyone can compete with the suite of products and support to train employees on cyber hygiene.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no downside to PhishER. the system is pretty self-explanatory, and the more you use it the snappier it becomes.
Perhaps more built-in intelligence to handle even more of the emails would be a plus, but honestly, it fits our needs without it.

PhishER gives the employees a single easy method to report phishing emails, as well as standardizing the IT department's approach toward suspicious emails. The product has offered guidance to the IT Department on how to address the issue of reporting suspicious emails.

PhishER is great training for end users. I appreciate that the emails going out to test our users look legit, and it has made our users a lot more cautious.

PhishER is at the top of its competitors, I don't have anything that I dislike about it.
