PhishER is a wonderful way to get your staff reporting w/out filling out tickets

What do you like best about the product?
Nothing like telling customers, look, you can press this button and it does all the informing we need.
No more ticket filling out, no more forwarding to help desk.
Just hit the button and you're golden.
What do you dislike about the product?
That users are so slow to use the button. First they're not happy about having to fill out tickets or forward to the Help Desk but a button? Wow, talk about making their lives easier and that's just TOO much to ask
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides users quality feedback on e-mails they're concerned is SPAM or Phishing.
It's removing tickets from the Help Desk que
It's making users' lives easier by one click and done instead of a laundry list of tasks to do with potential SPAM or Phishing.

What do you like best about the product?
PhishER is extremely thorough while maintaining flexibility. The support has been amazing, and the staff has embraced the program without complaint. The courses and playbooks are easy to set up and maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's almost too thorough. For the IT/security side of things, it's great, but we have run into issues with it feeling like too much at times. The phishing reporting tool can seem a bit clunky and the tests can get kind of messy through Gmail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER does everything it says it does. Many companies over promise, but PhishER has been reliable and has served its purpose from the start. Our staff is well educated and we have been able to stay ahead of many potential liabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
PhishER provides a user friendly solution to help control email SPAM, a simply Outlook plug-in that users can move questionable emails to for scanning and disposition

The AI engine behind PhisER sometimes miscategorizes emails

PhishER is helping our organizational control email SPAM and also educating users on what may/may not be SPAM

What do you like best about the product?
What I have liked the best about PhishER is knowing the safety behind and being able to trust and work with the software. Positive reinforcement allows successful learning to take place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was quite hard to get set up on our own. You definitely need training and assistance on getting it all set up for your group to learn how to use it. Also, making sure that it works all together and is not just splotchy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is monitoring our firm's safety and security. It allows us to be aware of who might need more coaching on virtual threats and training. It solves having to be micromanaging 30+ employees on internet security.

Simple management of reported phishing emails.

What do you like best about the product?
User interface is simple. Automation is very good. Insight into potential attacks. Insight into legit emails that are incorrectly reported.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most reported emails require my direct review to determine if they are a threat or not. It would be nice if the tool provided more help in thsi matter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy reporting of phishing attacks. All phishing reports are in a tool designed for managing them.

What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to go in and find messages in user boxes, then act on them as necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little hard to figure out what the buttons all mean/do and how they interact. Perhaps more tips scattered throughout the UI would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When a threat comes in, we can very quickly view it and decide on a course of action. Delete or quarantine with just a few clicks in all user mailboxes. Big time saver over the native O365 method for removing messages.

Great Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Being aware of employee habits and typical attacks has been invaluable. I can track who is taking advantage and who I need to speak to. It also keeps me up to date on the newest types of attacks, alongside newsletters from knowbe4 itself. On a couple of occasions, I have recieved newsletters from knowbe4 warning of a new type of attack only to start getting PhishER alerts about them hours later. It allows me a chance to send out an email to all staff warning about the attack in plain english they can follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
VirusTotal. I have found it to be nearly useless. The only site it consistently generates a result for is gmail.com. Files that are *.pdf.html (which are exceedingly common) it generates absolutely no warning on, and other links always show zero results also. I end up only having my own judgement to base my judgements on. Which is fine for me, but I don't think its a good resource for those who might be more reliant on tools like it to base their decisions on. My impression is that those customers are the target of the company more than myself, so I think that might be a big point to reevaluate. Unfortunately I don't know what a good solution may be, but it clearly needs to be reevaluated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have seen benefit mostly as already described above, but the existence of the PAB and its link to PhishER has empowered so many of my employees to send me emails they just don't feel comfortable about. Prior to it, they had to call me and have me come see them, or they would send me an email. I often got statements like "I didn't want to bother you, but..." and I don't anymore. I just get an alert, and I handle it.

Timesaver and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Users find it easy to submit suspect email to PhishER. We allow automation rules to run and then with a single click set the final status, and reply to the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tricky getting the VirusTotal plugin to work as expected every time, but I suspect this is a VT issue and not PhishER.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting of suspect emails is way up, but our time invested is lower.

Very Useful, For Larger Organizations

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is being able to auto-respond to employees about certain types of emails reported.
What do you dislike about the product?
The current rules for taking action are YARA based and can sometimes be cumbersome to keep up to date, and to filter exactly what you're hoping for. The preview feature to the rules to see what would be impacted was a nice touch though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest benefit is "training" the end users on what constitutes a legitimate risk vs. general business spam. Auto-responding to internal communications that people report is a wonderful way to teach them to read the email they should actually be reading.
