Clean design solid solution
What do you like best about the product?
Its robust feature set allows for easy device management and configuration. Very user-friendly and easy to delegate. Additionally it offers seamless integration with other systems and tools to give you a better handle of your fleet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes especially when managing a large number of devices simultaneously it may have some performance issues. , especially when managing a large number of devices simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage a large fleet of devices, Making sure they are safe for students to use and that the school investment is used properly.

Does a good job of managing our Mac devices

Jamf Pro is very expensive. Can be difficult to setup

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to manage computers and mobile devices as I need is unmatched.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of my dislikes revolve around the UX as Jamf works to implement new functionality and styling. The same settings across different areas are presented differently and you interact with them differently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apple hardware lifecycle management, software deployment, etc.

Wipe commands do not work properly. This would be helpful.

Not really about jamf pro itself but in the wrong hands it can do damage and/or become very convoluted.

Being able to manage many devices easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Making smart groups and advanced searches make it easy to manage and maintain devices, as well as see numbers of devices in certain states.
What do you dislike about the product?
With our institution of thousands of devices split between all the schools in the UNC-System, performance takes a huge hit due to the site existing for a long time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to manage both our macOS and iOS devices, including providing applications and services to our users on campus.

It's an incredibly capable platform for managing Apple devices

Configuring a new instance takes a lot of work

You can't truly manage Apple devices without an MDM platform

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro has made deploying Macs easier. I can push updates and manage software easier especially for my enginners.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's complexity makes it hard to use. It has a lot of learning curve. You need another tool to manage non-Apple devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having our Macs in one centralized location. Seeing all the updates and what laptops needs updates.
Utilize for managing iPads

Being able to locate devices and send remote commands.

The audit log feature doesn't work all the time.
