Mac deployment and management made easy
What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities of Jamf Pro to deploy and manage our Macs has made life much easier for us. The amount of customizations available are numerous. I’m a big fan of the Patch management that alerts to new versions of popular software titles so they can automatically be pushed out. Also enjoy that it is pretty easy to find solutions to questions due to the vast Jamf community that posts answers and solutions in various areas on the web.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a better organized JamfNation website to make it even easier to find solutions to questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to manage versions of software and OS versions as well as provide secure access to our company’s resources and provide our Security staff piece of mind.

What do you like best about the product?
Zero touch deployment of Macs in a world wide environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of jcds in on prem results in the need to maintain and replicate our own distribution points world wide.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced setup time and empowering new employees. Improved training workflow and rollout to learners in multiple roles world wide.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Plan for the future. What you need now is not what you need in 2-5 years.

Jamf is an excellent macOS endpoint management tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jamf releases often have bugs that are discovered after release.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are maintaining software currency and keeping our Macs compliant.

Functionalities made easy coming from our previous MDM

The future of Jamf looks to be multiple product like Connect/Protect with separate licensing. May be better if it's Suite license to show value

Love the control in all of the management possibilities available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took some figuring out to really maximize my effectiveness with the GUI. Feel like there are many places where unnecessary click/steps could be avoided.

Slowly taking more and more work off our our computer technicians troubled with repetitive tasks on user devices.

I like that it has moved to the cloud. And we are no longer limited by our servers
